Basement Gardens grow room

Hey @BasementGardens I read through all of this and plants always look so great. I appreciate you sharing your wrinkly pups with us, they’re adorable.

Did you see the seed sorter that DougDawson posted about a bit ago? Rise and shine, it's seed sorting time Wasn’t sure if that’d be useful to you for processing.

I hope everything continues to go smoothly!

Hell yeah, I think it is a good one! I will get them out soon, I even fancied up my pucks. It would be awesome to see what you get.

The cluster is spreading!

Thanks a lot for that, @C_in_CT - they mean a lot to me, they really are just full of joy and kindness. I did see that machine and so may very well pick one up!

Nice pics of the pugs!

I have an original pack of Cobra Lips that I’ve been thinking about growing for a couple years before they get too hard to crack.

Looks like fun!

Hey Bro -
Love the write-up on your Blueberry Milk F2s :blue_heart:
Great job on that and on the seeds !

Thanks much! Am excited to see what comes of the cobra!

Thanks @doober, Am letting them cure a bit and I will send you everything I made here in case you ever want them. There is the BB milk seed extension, the BB Milk F2 from my favorite girl, and what I am calling “Milky Blueberry Milk” which is Mother’s Milk F2 x BB Milk. I will get some rhubarb pics up soon, as well. Cheers!

Here are a few pics I thought were ok.

Blueberry Milk F2

Hi everyone, since I am putting some seeds out there, I would like to write up some information for anyone that finds themselves in possession of one of the following pucks. I will start with the short version, here is what is out there.

All packs created

—————
Blueberry Milk F2 - Seed Extension

Blueberry Milk is Mother’s Milk 31 x Blueberry, originally by Strayfox in collaboration with Second Generation. They were given as freebies and sold online but few remain around.

Born-on or around September 2024

This puck will contain at least 3 seeds from each of the 3 females that I worked with, numbered in order from skinny leaf to fat leaf. They were pollinated by 2 similar middle-of-the-road males, who were removed after day 21 of flower.

The boys

The girls, pics are of clones from seed mother, being tested for flower:

Female 1
She has a light body odor funk, maybe some sweet mixed in. She keeps showing deficient for calcium, I think, and she grows with pointy buds, here at about a month flower.

Female 2
She has no scent, at least not yet a month into flower. Like nothing. She grows long stalks of bud kabobs though, very much Mom’s structure.

Female 3
My selection for next gen work, she smells strongly of grape kool-aid, nice structure, high yield, a dream to trim.

F2 - Blueberry Milk - grape kool-aid pheno

These are the same seeds above, but all coming from Female #3.

Milky blueberry milk

Mother’s Milk F2 x Blueberry Milk

These seeds are from two different Mother’s Milk female plants (#3 and #8 are my internal numbers) found in a pack of Useful Seeds F2s, pollenated by both of the blueberry milk males.

If you got a pack of these, let me know if you get a chance to pop anything, cheers!

Yes, it is beautiful and frosty too - I really overfed this one, she was not as receptive to feeding as her sisters. Maybe it gives her more pigment to play with during the fade, who knows, but she clawed her whole life

Awesome @BasementGardens ! Love the packaging! Sounds like there’ll be some nice ones to be found. The pups are looking cute and content too!

Cool as hell dude. Who wouldn’t want to grow out some of those Blueberry Milk F2’s after reading this post?! How’s the buzz for you?

Thanks buddy….erton! I appreciate you checking in, I topped the quiver of quiver crosses yesterday, flower soon so I can keep them relatively small. If you want a puck of each of the bb milk stuff just let me know and I will send some off for you.

DM me your address and I will send some off, gladly, if you’d like. I haven’t even finished growing these out, so I can’t say anything about the smoke. I can tell you that Mother’s Milk seems to generally come through stronger than the blueberry. One is around 7 weeks now, my favorite one (most blueberry) and it has been smooth sailing. Nice frost but also just lots of nice, big buds. The other two are a bit different but quite nice. Thank you for the kind words!

Cheers! I guess I am in the correct spot :joy:. Thanks for the nice words.

I wanted to show off these Rhubarb plants (pssst @doober) that have been into flower for 2 weeks now. Rhubarb is available as a freebie wherever 3Thirteen Seeds are sold and is a cross between Bag of Oranges and Citrus MILF.

I started three, they are all really vigorous - my #2 is notable for its early purple bud color :eyes:

And someone is quite proud today. The certificate did not make it clear what she did, but hey, any reason to celebrate.

Hey Bro -
Great looking seed packs and descriptions :blue_heart:
Figured I’ld show my Rhubarb here so you could see what’s going on in my basement !
Here she is at about 3 weeks into 12/12

Maybe your #2 will be like her.
I also have a couple rooted cuts of her now that might be used to try to make some S2s.

Man that is awesome awesome awesome - I think I am going to steal the @Budderton small-scale pollination method and give my #2 a bit of blueberry milk on a branch. I just need to find a bath robe that makes my eyes pop.

If you have the time to do the S2, I would love to see, I am interested in learning the process. That is a beauty - are you in trim jail?

Hahaha! :rofl::rofl::sweat_smile:

Would be happy to show you what I know about the process my friend.
Yes, I’m busy trimming the outdoor ! Not really jail to me, more like community service

With friends like these how can I fail?? Cheers @doober.

Well here is how I am currently failing.

Razzberry Lemonaid is right at 9 weeks, and I guess one is mostly done, but the others are really packing it on still. Well, were packing it on as I have chopped them and they will hang outside in shame.

Yeah, looks like PM to me. Not sure how/why, I have seen some out in the garden, maybe it got in. I found two spots on #1 and one spot on #2 - so all of them go. Happy they are certainly “harvestable” but I would like to have seen them through.

Last pics:

So am trying to do a tear down of just the one tent and do some spraying, hoping for the best.

Dang! sorry man. :frowning:

I’ve not run into PM, on my indoor garden :crossed_fingers: but I have seen it outside a bit on the tomatoes and especially the marigolds. I love the smell of those and it looks like you got a nice garden of them :+1:

With what you found there, does that make the whole plant in-consumable?
