Yup, autos will go from seed at either 12/12 or 24/0, and I’ve changed one in the middle when it was growing beside a photo plant.
As for trimming, I did trim this plant
I didn’t trim this one (until I really had to)
The one I trimmed gave me the most I’ve got off an auto plant yet. I took her tops all off and dried them, then cut the rest down and filled my wine fridge (red tags)
Take all of this with a grain of salt, I still am just feeding fish and watching plants do their thing
