Hey guys let’s talk a little beasters from the late '90s/early 2000s… Remember that s*** people would pass off as kind bud or dank? Basically keifed to hell and back or just simply lacking proper drying and curing. Bland ass terps and potency such a disappointment. Pretty sure it was coming from Canada and you knew exactly what the smoke would be based on appearance. Down in my neck of the woods 50/eighth which is a crime against humanity. Would rather have mid grade honestly it was so bad.

Oh yeah sometime after the Mexi came the BC/Beasters. That shit was horrible but some guys got rich off of it. Break up an Oz and have a quarter in stems.

Oh we definitely had access to plenty of good herb but man that beasters was distinct. All of the life sucked out of what could have been great chronic. Deep South area and I always wondered who were the growers of this terp less and frost less weed?

It all came from Canada, had buddies drive from the US/Mexico border to US/Canada border and grab a few hundred at a time. Honda Civics gutted and stuffed.

This was talked about before in the past and many people said bc bud/beasters is probably m39 or northern lights x skunk#1 coming from Canada. I remember it was a step up from Mexican brick and was going for around 30-35 an 1/8th on the east coast with Mexican brick going for between 15-25 an 1/8th and higher quality bud going between 50-65.00 .

Was probably my least favorite type of bud to pick up, mostly because people would try to pass it off as something dank only for you take a whiff and smell nothing but stale grass. At least the brown brick stuff was 20$ an ounce and they told you up front hahahah

Beasters ruined Blue Dream. So many clowns were renaming beasters Blue Dream at the time and now most people think Blue Dream was bunk. Haha

Yeah man I keep hearing that was the strain being neglected in the form of beasters. Basically they chopped partially dried and sent it on its way. No way in hell it was properly dried and cured which as we know as growers is pretty much the most important step to finishing all of that hard work

Yup, beasters was super common although it wasn’t 50 for long, looked nice but was just middies and we were inundated in the late 90s early 2000s, it was from Canada and I had a hand in bringing it home but we sold it at 30/60. Made a killing but it was good enough. When the blueberry hit is when people really started realizing, so many thought blueberry was fake and laced. Nope, just blueberry and sour diesel that was 5 times as potent. I think back to those days often. It was fun.
