Best Budget Friendly Full Spectrum light for 1 plant?

Can any one recommend a cheap FS light that would work for 1 or 2 plants in a small closet?

When I mean budget. I mean under $100

Thanks for the help OG

Less than 100 bucks is a big ask.

How big do you want these plants to get?

If there’s one thing to not cheap out on it’s your light.

That said I’m sure you can find something brand x on amazon.

I’d suggest setting up a search alert on kijiji. You should be able to find a mar hydro, spider farmer or vivispectra fixture for sale second hand.

I got most of my eq this way and tend to pay under 50% retail value everytime.

Also I saw a used hlg135 on kijiji for $150 bucks which is a killer light and a wicked deal.

But be careful with kijiji. You really need to know what you want/do your research.

@Foreigner if you go to oakville and buy BOTH of them i’ll buy one off of you with a bonus gift

@Phil_Bombs , my propogation tent 2x2x3 uses 4x 3200k led shop lights + 2x 6500k led bulbs. All bought on sale and rigged as a single unit for under 90$. I usually run 2-3 out of 4 lamps it’s so bright but the 4th is handy when needed.

Ha! You could! Or you can get em for $250 and sell 1 of them to me for $125 and baked goods ,:hugs:

A marshydro ts600 is around 100 bucks.

@Pigeonman If I was in the market for new lights I would have jumped on them both. But I think I’m going to live with my TSL until it dies. But I LOVE my hlg100. It’s amazing what 100 watts can do.

Sub-$100 is tough but with the HOLIDAY code at HLG right now a 135w kit is under $150, or a Diablo 200 for like $165, which would be an ideal light. Don’t cheap out on anything but top bin diodes and drivers, you’ll just pay for it later in electricity and replacement costs. If I hadn’t just built a new light with the QB96 engines they were clearing out I’d be getting that Diablo for my small tent

The way I see it is you would be paying yourself $100 an hour to drive there and back.

That’s a good deal @Dirt_Wizard .

Other option is wait until boxing week for other sales? :man_shrugging:
