By the way. Looking back at my notes, I cut the ISS plant last week at 72 days from flip. I think yours were a week or two behind mine.

You used BBP on the BC correct?

Everyone seems to be using that BBP on this site, it must work! It is expensive, but I hope to try some in the future since it is so effective

Yes. Everything I have right now, except my mother plants had had the @BudBusterPro treatments.

It certainly speeds things up @Natea . Veg is thicker and builds up quicker. I think the stems might even be more solid. Thatā€™s just going by the Frankenstein I didnā€™t use it on compared to the one I did. They demand ( I do mean that ) extra nutes because their metabolism is in hyper drive. More watering, nutesā€¦ Itā€™s all in more demand. I think getting a plant to flip quicker is a big plus but it also extends the flowering time by a considerable amount. That tradeoff comes with bigger buds from what I understand. It, I would think, it depends on how much the increase in product matters to you. If your needs are small and you are growing more than enough for yourself and whoever else, the expense may not be worth it for you. I can absolutely see the effectiveness of the product and would use it all the time but I am a poor man (so I get your point about expense).

It really isnā€™t ā€˜expensiveā€™ cuz. When you break the cost of @BudBusterPro down to the actual amount used in treatment, itā€™s only pennies! A little goes a LONG way!

edit. Granted, the initial outlay is rather high, but 2-3ml per week isnā€™t over the top cost-wise. Look at it like this, how much do you spend on any single bottle of nutrients? and then add up how much that bottle of nutrients costs you to replace. The 2 ounce bottle will last you like that, as an example, for quite a few plants grow cycle.
And the 2-3ml per week will hit a few plants

What Johnny said is true too. Iā€™ve used it quite a bit and still have most of mine. Those ISS took a lot of spraying.

If you have someone local that grows, you could go in halves on a small bottle. A little goes a long way. I applied to six plants the full gamut. I believe I got three applications before flower and two after flip. Then I also used some the grow before that. Plus all my new plants have been treated twice. That was all from one small bottle. And I screwed up the first grow with it.
I would say if you used it like I did and you grow six plants, you can get two complete grows out of one bottle. Or one if you go in on it with another person.

@BigMike55 ya know what makes it even better cuz? lol I got that electronic spray bottle that charges USB. It makes the BBP stretch, while at same time insures the plants get a damn good spraying!
A regular spray bottle doesnā€™t hold a candle to that thing!
The mist is a whole lot finer

Now, THAT is snazzy! Who said @JohnnyPotseed is an Old School Grower?

   :+1:
I say Iā€™m an ā€˜oldschool growerā€™ā€¦I just use new-aschool methods when they work better, for me!

@BigMike55 , cuz you saw my DIY LEDs when you were here! lol

Oh yeah thatā€™s not bad, like you said the initial buy is just expensive. I had to get the free offer for MC to get nutes for my next grow things were so tight, sorry I may be thinking from a ā€˜lackā€™ mentality. I think I have one of those spray bottles too. Just to be clear, this is an additive foliar spray in addition to regular nutes right?

Nope cuz, it is only a foliar spray, not nutrient additive. Itā€™s not even classed as a nutrient, it just helps the plant uptake more nutrients ( a LOT more) lol

No, heā€™s old school enough to know that he doesnā€™t know everything. When something is better adapt it to your methods.
When you ā€œknow it allā€ you will ignore empirical evidence laid right out in front of you.

Ah, that clears it up, thanks.

Iā€™ve been using the BBP since last year when Bob first introā€™d it here on OG, i wouldnā€™t be caught without it! Itā€™s become the most important (if not biggest) weapon in my arsenal!

I had a LOT of questions, fearing the ā€˜snake-oilā€™ salesman lol but Bob was patient, answering all of my concerns. Iā€™m so damn glad that man came over here to OG! lol
