Sorry, had to finish my smoke… I’m feeling much better now.
Those are amazing looking buds. I am not just saying that. They should get your heart pumping every time you walk in there. lol

I know, right? I don’t understand it. Same nute schedule, same light schedule, same everything as that first tent. And everything in there has gone a good two weeks additional. Can’t figger it out but, oh, well. They are getting there. That ICC I think is gonna be really good smoke. And this is my first go all the way to finish on the Skywalker. I’m excited.

Man! I frickin’ LOVE this sh!t. Growing my own smoke I mean. I get a double whammy out of it. To me, it’s very calming and therapeutic while I’m growing. Then it’s so nice to have your own special cannabis that you grew yourself. And I know for a fact, mine is better than any dispensary weed I have ever tried.
I really believe most growers of dispensary weed harvest too early so they can get an extra grow in on any given year. Just my opinion. But I honestly have only had one good experience with dispensary weed. It was GG#4. Long time ago.

Agreed,so satisfying to enjoy something you created and know you did the best you could.
I wonder also which such large commercial grows, how good the quality control could possibly be? There is no way they can give each plant the care like a we can in our gardens

Automation will be how they’ll end up going. With the optics and computer recognition software, any bent leaf will be instantly recognized and a notice sent to the office.
My uncle said that is how some of the big industry row crops are already done. Drones break up the row and take pics as they go. That’s analyzed and any problem is instantly addressed.

A friend of mine sent a pic to me of his so-called commercial grow. I zoomed in real tight on some of the colas. Spider mite webs all over them. He asked me what I thought. I told him the buds look good except for those spider mites. He said, it’s ok. I will wash that crap off. They don’t inspect for bugs anyways. Only for pesticides and chemicals.
Maybe @JohnnyPotseed can enlighten us on that. Kinda unbelievable really, but that’s what I was told.

One would hope so. That just sounds nasty!

Dude, such a great job with that Buddhas Cane. That stacking looks unreal! And that purple colour is how I know that beauty strain.

That is crazy, but mite infestations have to be a huge problem…and we have a hell of a time getting rid of those bastards with our small grows, just imagine a few warehouses full of plants. There is no way you vould be able to control those suckers

I’m not really sure about that cuz. I know some labs will say ‘pests!’ and depending on how many, will ‘pass’ or ‘fail’. But for the most part, i think he’s right. They don’t seem to be overly concerned around here, and have ‘maximum’ number per gram that decides that. Then there are the dispos that’ll buy anything, as long as it’s cheap… no tests or anything, ‘under-the-table’ dealing. I kept away from them joints, lol ya never know what the hell they’re selling to folks!

one thing I do know, the pant can be killed by them lil F’ers! It would never reach it’s potential with a heavy infestation, not to mention passing them on to customers! ugh
If we saw mites or not, we always sprayed weekly as a preventative measure, then washed the harvested flower before testing.

I take that as a major compliment, coming from the breeder. Thanks for saying so. I’m really proud of the plants this grow. Everything is finishing up exactly as it should.
