Hummm sounds sweet.
If you still have some of that pollen I’ll take some, im flipping to flower in 3 weeks!
Addy please. Its yours.
It sounds tempting
I think the pollen is gone folks. But seeds are coming down the pike.
You got some good stuff going. To be honest I just figured out how to use the server so I can jump around a little bit more.
Bend those strings brother!!!
So are your girls metalheads? I saw a documentary years ago where different genre were played for plants. They concluded that Classical made them grow well, Metal didn’t have as much effects but still some improvement, Country made them strong and Polka made them commit suicide. It was terrible!!! Leaves were lying everywhere! I felt bad for the clones that were crying for their mothers!!
Who says Texan’s are the best "liars!
I know they like Old AC/DC. When I start playing blues they kinda wilt a bit.
The pollen I got from you was nice and dry @DougDawson.
I mixed it 1 part pollen to five parts flower (that I heated in the oven for a bit to ensure it was dry and then cooled). After that I added a tea spoon of rice and put in a medicine bottle and into the freezer.
I’m hoping that is sufficient. I’ve never stored pollen before.
So here are a few picks of the girls today. They are really starting to swell with seed. Looking a tad scraggly but they appear happy and healthy.
Some real nice frost going on there!
Very nice looking.
They still have several weeks. I need to cut back on the nitrogen. Starting to burn leaf tips.
Looking good man
I got the pollen today and used the tinyest amount on a branch of purple Pole dancer. I don’t expect more than 50 seeds.
Thank you @BigMike55 pollen landed. I’ve got a Citrus Milf in the tent (short wide leaf pheno) getting hit on one side.Should make something awesome thinking on Queen of the Damned (Aaliyah cuts coming).
So that is nitrogen that causes the burnt tips? Always thought it was just to much nutes in general. Not doubting, it just trying to learn something.
This is just my opinion. Mid to late flower, they seem to use less nitrogen and pick up the pace on phosphorus and potassium. That’s not to say they use zero, just less. I usually back off the nitrogen during this time and increase the others. Again. My opinion. I could be wrong.
I don’t think it would be possible for over fertilizing, in general. I use, basically, half strength nutrients thruout the grow. Like 500-700 ppm. Never over 1000 ppm. Possibly lockout conditions but my ph is always right around 6.1-6.5.
I definitely get they use less n in flower for sure. Just always had others tell me “you got painted finger nails, must be pushing the nutes a bit hard.” Just never heard burnt tips related to nitrogen. I pretty much run all my nutes at a half dose as well. Learn something every day. Appreciate ya brother…
