Since I know you did well on your pollen grab, can you tell me the exact method of collection. I found where you pollinated the female by shaking the male over her. But all the excess pollen. How did you go about collecting, like something on the floor to collect it or did you just scrape up what you could?

Hey bud, was really simple actually. Lefthandseeds suggested an ultrasonic toothbrush but to be honest was too much of a pain. I did get one but for the most part didn’t use it even thought it worked. I think I was just too impatient, tapping the branches in the bowl was much faster. I didn’t scrape anything up off the ground, the only pollen used or sent out came straight off the 2 males into a bowl. So what I did was go in once a day, turned off the fans and than took each individual branch tapped it against a metal bowl. Than I would scrape the bowl with a card, put the pollen in a dish and than the dish went into a sealed Tupperware with a mini dehumidifier. So I took the liner out but to give you an idea of the amount of pollen take a look at the light and the mirror on top of the tent on other side of room. Those dam males where chucking that stuff everywhere.

I looked at that last picture an my brain went, “why is that pollen red?” Then I realized the light is red, and the light color was the pollen.

Can’t argue with success. That will be my method. The early male is stacking pollen flower good right now. And not enuff pistils to pollinate yet. So, I want to capture the pollen to possibly use later in flower when the girls are ready. Thanks for the advise.

Got a nice little surprise this morning.
It is now confirmed. One male, a real good one, too. And 3 females. 2 distinct Phenos, in my opinion. Kinda what I was hoping for. Gonna wait until Sunday to post new photos! Wait till you see them.
