Normally, I back off the nitrogen a bit during flower. But I TRY to hit it just right and have the tiniest bit of tip burn. This run, I was in all 2 gallon pots due to a surgery and could not up-pot. So, I ended up watering EVERY DAY. Anyways, Talking to @JohnnyPotseed he told me to give them a bit more nitrogen, they can handle it. Thus the bigger than my normal, tip burn. BUT… the buds appear to be fattening up a bit better than before,
Learn something new every day, right?

Wow. This was a nice read. Fantastic job @BigMike55. I like that tip burn indicator. I’ll have to learn it, I starved one of my plants this turn.

Now, this is just MY personal method of growing that has worked well for me. There are many other ways of growing that work just as well. I don’t claim to be a Master Grower by any means.

I remember from years ago, from an old time grower, that you want the tiniest bit of burn right at the tips. Like 1/16-1/8 inch. That lets you know you are giving her all the nitrogen she needs to flourish. Couse back in the day, they didn’t have PPM meters and such. You had to learn how to read the plant. Anyways, that’s what he learnt me and I ain’t forgot. I use that and it has not gone wrong yet.

Agreed. I push until I see a little burn and then back off just the tiniest bit. Best way to know you’ve got it dialled in perfectly :+1:

Wont be long now. Bloody Monster Sinsemilla. About 1 more week until chop. The trichomes are mostly cloudy. Very little amber. Except on the leaves. Those are browning up quick. The plants have stopped drinking as much and the spent leaves haves been removed.

I will try to post some a bit later or before chop. I will need to set up my tripod and microscope. The smell is incredible. and it changes from time to time. One minute you will swear you need a shower, but nope. Its the plants. Then you go back later and it smells like a sack of penny candy.

I think I will get a nice yeild considering small pots and not really being able to train them or anything for about 6 weeks.

I am blazing on these girls little sister, Cookie Monster. And I am FUUUUCCCCCKKKKEEEEDDDD UUUUUPPPPP! Yes. This early in the morning.

Didnt notice it before, but that 4th pic, the bud has a bit of purpling going on. Man, I love the differences of cannabis plants. Not only the differences in strains. But the suble differences from plant to plant. They are all beautiful.
