This here is my next project. After the current harvest.
3 Crocketts Tangie from seed. 3 Buddahs Cane from clone. 1 Sheelavathi from my friend. Three ISS clones in beer cups. Those others are mother plants.

Check out this video. I have always wondered about this.

Yep, names can be changed and it’s tough to know what you’re getting sometimes. That said, it’s just as likely that Dan Herer is lying or simply doesn’t know - he’s in the business and there’s a very strong motive for him to want people thinking that he and his company have the only legitimate source of that strain. Just like every other breeder insisting that they have the legit cut of whatever-it-is and that everyone else is just lying to scam people. No realistic way to tell who’s telling the truth. I’ve heard that DJ lost the real Blueberry line and is now desperately trying to recover it from old crosses he made, and meanwhile he’s suing people for using the Blueberry name on other products. Is that true, or just marketing? :man_shrugging: Again, no way to tell. Grow what you like and ignore the names, imo. I’m starting a bunch of Skunk seeds for my next grow, since my friend is still hopeful that it’s around and we might find it in a bunch of bought seeds. 99% chance that everything will be fruit flavors, but I figure every time I pop seeds it’s a pheno hunt anyway.

I have wondered about this many times. I guess all said and done… it’s all pot, some good, some not.
I don’t buy seeds anyway so most everything I have came from friends on here. If it’s not what I or they thought it was… Oh well. lol
It’ll be a letdown, be good, or be fire! I won’t know until after the flame hits the bud.

I see it all the time, people saying they are growing a “cut only” from seeds. GSC, GG4, Blue Dream, etc…

Yo peeps. Here’s my first harvested plant from this grow. 72 days from flip. This one is Island Sweet Skunk. The rest are not quite done. A week more maybe.
So this ISS was a fairly smallish plant. But yield she did. 889 grams wet. After fan leaf removal.
Edit. That was 88.9 grams not 889 grams. Haha.

This was the main cola.

Mouth watering! lol

Man! Does she smell nice!
And those buds, even the smaller larfy ones could be regarded as lethal weapons. Rock Hard!

So your gonna put that washer to work? If you do, you gotta hop over to Johnny’s place. lol
It looks like she has plenty of trychomes for it.

Not for my ISS. That’s my flower to smoke. Now, my plan for the rest of the plants will be to snip off the colas and the really big buds, when they are harvested. Those with be dried, jarred and cured for smoke. The rest will be immediately placed in the freezer to make hash with. After the hash is made, THEN, there will be a trip to see @JohnnyPotseed Won’t be long.

Sounds like a plan Stan. :+1:t5:
I’m going to have so much come from those three girls it would take me years to smoke it all. lol
I’m going to use any smaller buds to make hash with. That, my friend, should be killer.

Yup! We’re on the same page here.
For one person, I grow more in one grow than a heavy smoker would use in a year. Haha!
I have places to go with it tho. My grandson’s girlfriend has a mother who is about to die of cancer. Really nice woman, too. Sad. Anyways after I harvested my stuff last grow, I bundled up at least a pound to send over to her for her to make edibles with. It does not go to waste, that’s for sure.
