BigMike55’s Ongoing Cannabis Log (Part 1)

I know right?
I think this one could fill a 5x5 if I trained it right.
This girl is a beast. Actually too big for this tent. But it’s too late now. I’ll just keep tying her down as good as I can and try to do better next time.

So how many days of flower do you think she will go? Did she get the BBP?

Yes, it did get the BBP treatment.
I think @Oldjoints told me the Sheelavathi will flower for 12-14 weeks. Possibly a bit longer.

Well cuz, lol if you used BBP on it, you can add 2-4 weeks to that!

That is some great looking plants. I love the strain. Oldjoints that is so cool looking.

By 14 - 16 weeks he’ll need a new tent. This one will be split at the seams!

It’s gonna take weeks to trim that thing when it finishes.

Morning Johnny, i know this is out of the blue… how does BBP handle Timing issues on AutoFlowers

Same thing lol it adds a couple weeks on autos also. Which is great, as long as you adjust your timing of drops accordingly! It makes for bigger plants, and bigger buds/yield.

Hey @JohnnyPotseed
Does it affect the timing on when it decides to flower or just extend the flowering period?

It just extends the flower period cuz. I haven’t seen any effect on when it starts.
Every Auto I’ve used BBP on has done the same as every photo in that respect. It extends the flowering time. But that makes sense, if you think about it. To get bigger plants, with bigger yield, you’re gonna need a bit more time. BBP keeps em healthy, hungry and growing awhile longer than the norm.

Thinking about that, it may add some time to vegging cycle also, I’d have to go back through notes to make sure. It’s too early for me to think! lol
I looked at notes, nope I didn’t see the veg time extended, just the flower time. Further testing would be needed to say unequivocally.

@JohnnyPotseed
I kinda remembered that but he asked about “timing”. Length of veg being the same is part of that equation.

I didn’t notice any difference during veg. Except that it seems to produce more budsites. The most noticable difference to me is the amount of nutrients you need to use after. It seems to make them really hungry. And hungry equals bigger plants, bigger buds, etc. If you give them what they want.
Whatever it is. I know BBP works for what I want. Increased yields and nice healthy plants.

lol cuz, in other words… BBP works great!! :+1:

I screwed up yesterday.
I always turn my fans off before trying to collect any pollen. Otherwise it just flies everywhere.
So I did that. But when I finished, I forgot to turn all the fans back on.
I left home for a couple hours. Came back and the tent was 100.2°F inside the tent. Holy Shit. It’s never been that hot in there before. I think those ISS plants will be ok. But Sheesh! I need to quit getting stoned before tending to my girls.

Ouch! I’ve been there and i’m sure many of us have. :crossed_fingers: all is well with your plants @BigMike55 !

Try having the AC go out when you’re away from the house and lights were on but the exhaust fan wasn’t. No, don’t try that. It hurts when you open the door and see what you see.

I member when I first did inside with a tent. I didn’t see the need for an exhaust fan until flower, so I did not bother. Those plants nearly burned up. Got the exhaust fan and everything was good.
It only takes a little while to realize your exhaust fan not only removes the stink(with filter), it removes extra heat and humidity. Which to me, is far more important than removing the stink. What was I thinking? I guess I wasn’t.

Yeah, I was relying on that AC too much. I should have known better.
