No need for that, cuz… fridge does the twofold job, keeps em fresh, and tricks em into thinking they’ve gone through ‘winter’…
Just let em sit n warm up to room temps for a day, then germinate em. They seem to sprout quicker, to me. I haven’t looked up enough ‘scientific’ testing to say completely that’s best, lol but it’s worked for me mosta my life…

Nah. I’ve read pros and cons. I have heard some say the freezer is too humid (icy) and really does no benefit. I’ve just always used the fridge.

I’ve always kept them in the fridge, Im have pretty good germ rates, even with some of my older seeds.

Yup…. The freezer took many of my prized possessions. Very low germ rate after about 6 years in the freezer. For me at least.

In a sealed vial,jar,zippie, in a lock top container, in the veg crisper, in the bottom of the fridge lol
Seeds, as well as pollen. I know there’s gonna be folks of the ‘freezer’ school of thought, and maybe it does last longer, IF you’re going to wait that long to use it maybe! lol I don’t let pollen sit unused for very long, personally.

My understanding is that if you use the freezer you don’t touch them until sprouting them. Putting them in and out of the freezer is bad from what I hear

I did freezer years ago. They never sat long. I can see how it would mess them up. My seeds back then where bag seeds.

Nice to see you’re keeping busy, I think I have something crossed with zamadelica or zamdelica something like that, they’re from some charity auction like Cbay. Damn now I have to go hunting in the seed stash to see what it is.
A little sick today. Don’t know what’s wrong. Body aches cold sweats choking up Flemish. Sucks man.

I was like that a few days ago. My stomach has been hurting. I ate something that wasn’t right. I have to hit a hot shower. Blow that shit out. I can imagine you probably go through the same things I do. Some of those older paint jobs had lead in them. I can remember synthetic paint. Even though it was illegal to sell, I could still get it.
