It’s in dialects, so to speak. Similar to when I lived in Germany. If you lived in the south of Germany Everyone knew what you were saying. Go to the northern part of Germany, and they’re like " what the hell is he talking about?"

I just read some crazy shit the other day this reminds me of. North and South Korea both spoke Korean forever until the divide. It’s been 81 years they’ve been divided and a good percentage of North Koreans have a very hard time understanding a South Korean, and a certain percentage of North Koreans cant understand South Koreans at all. Same language only separated by 80 years and it evolved that much. Pretty crazy.
