This summer has been a crazy one. Extreme heat, high winds and lots of rain. We had a tropical storm which was pretty intense. Had the most rainfall on record for a storm. The Girls got pretty beat up and my last minute of tying up and supporting the plants worked. I did get some bud rot due to the rain, As well as a few broken branches but it wasn’t too bad. I didn’t take a lot of pictures but here are a few. Sorry for the bad quality shots.
Today I chopped the Dark Tart which was my biggest plant at 6ft tall. It was the loudest smelling of the bunch and smelled like ripe fruit, cherries and lime.
The plants are nearing the finish line and are nice and frosty and pretty dense.
Considering the crazy weather this summer they did really well.
The tropical storm beat them up pretty good but they handled it well
My photo skills are lacking but here is a few shots.
The Celestial Tremors
The Dark Tart was put into the Cannatrol and was 1.5 lbs trimmed wet and smelled
like cherry’s, lime and ripe fruit. Looking forward to a sampling sesh soon.
It’s been a while since I posted here.
I dried all the flower and it’s been curing up in grove bags.
I haven’t tried any yet.
I was planning on pollinating 3 of the plants but I got covid and the grow
didn’t go as planned. The clones are recovering and doing well, flowering in a 3x3.
The dark tart still smells the loudest with fermented cherry/grapefruit smells and it is getting nice and frosty.
I’m trying to decide what to grow outdoor next year. I was thinking an auto flower that was gifted from og,
a sour bubble and maybe these 3 plants again. I’m not planning on running the doomsday diesel cbd next year.
Or if anyone knows of a cultivar that does well in partial sun that might work.
Here’s this years update.
I have 2 seelings of @Rhai88 and @Rena93
(Triangle Kush x Guerilla Fume) x Blueberry Diesel
Hopefully I’ll get at least 1 female. If I get 2 then i will grow them both.
They are pretty tiny right now.
I plan on growing my first autoflower courtesy of @Going2fast
which will be Grape Ice Cream F/A
I will grow a Sour Bubble Tribute from Tony Green
and I’m not sure what else I will plant.
Hopefully it will be a better season than last year and I will support the plants better than I did last year.
Guess we’ll see when I get to that point.
The outdoor is starting to move along.
I’m hoping for smaller plants this year so I put them in 3.5-4 gallon pots. First up is Grape Ice Cream Fem Auto by @Going2fast. It’s hardened off and in its final pot. Never grew an auto before. Hope it likes being outside.
Second up is:
(Triangle Kush x Guerilla Fume) x Blueberry Diesel
By @Rhai88 and @Rena93
It was on it’s deathbed a month ago and has recovered quite well and it showed it’s sex 2 weeks ago.
Woohoo a female!
The last pic is:
A Sour Bubble Tribute by @Tonygreen .
It preformed really well indoors and it’s time to see how it likes the out doors.
I topped it because it was getting too big and lanky in my tent
Last plant I’m thinking of putting outside is kinda small right now but it looks really nice. I’ll see if it’s going out or not soon. She showed sex a few days ago (F) and she is starting to smell already.
I popped her and the Grape ice cream on the same day.
Yesterday I was weeding near the spot where I had my plants topped dressed with neem cake.
This little neem plant emerged. Too funny. 2nd year in a row.
I came by to check out your Grape Ice cream. I’ve got a couple going too and I’m trying to figure out how long they are supposed to take. I think I’m at 55 days?
Thanks for stopping by.
I’ll take a picture of my Grape ice cream later today. It looks a little ahead of yours but not bu much.
It is pretty dense and frosty. I usually go by tricomb color. I haven’t counted any days at all but can estimate by the day I posted it was flowering in this thread. Unfortunately with the humidity and rain I got a little bit of bud rot.
Kinda hurts for such a small plant.
Your plant looks very nice!!
Thank you! We haven’t seen a drop of rain all summer until this morning. Usually it is wet and humid here. I could see this strain struggling. It’s very dense!
Here’s today’s photos of the Grape Ice Cream.
It looks similar to yours except smaller.
I never grew an auto flower and I thought it would have been bigger.
I think my next run of it will be indoors.
I love yours! I grew her indoors in DWC and she was upset about something early in the grow then just stayed tiny. Smoked nice, but was just a little bit racey for me.
In the next day or 2 I think I will add this Katsu Celestial Tremors plant to the outdoor grow.
I’ll transplant it into a 5 gallon bucket. Hopefully it will stay fairly small.
That plant looks really nice.
I like that it branched out like a mini Christmas tree.
I never had a plant which is basically a single bud without any side branching.
Makes me wonder what I did wrong.
When you chopped her did she have amber tricombs?
I accidently chopped off a bud when I was cutting out some bud rot.
tricombs are mostly clear. I’ll dry the small but and try it. Hope it’s not too racy/
The Grape Ice Cream smells really nice though.
