I had thrips earlier in the summer. Annoying little bastards… Defoliation and yellow sticky traps seemed to keep them at bay in my tent, but yeah had to clear the room to get rid of them completely.

Nice thanks for the tips. I’ve got to defoliate a bit more and I’ve been spraying fluromite and neem alternating for 3 days. I think I’ve caught them early.

Today’s pic. All topped again. Light raised a bit. Bugs under control. :v:

I don’t know what it is lately but I’ve been just pushing the 4 inch cups as far as they can go haha. I’ve got 3 ft girls in some :joy::v:

It’s amazing how they’ll keep reaching for the sky if they’re fed regular.

It’s incredible how big they can get in small pots. I use intermediate pots that are about a pint (probably 3-4"), and if they’re males that I’m keeping I don’t even transplant again anymore. They’ll hit 3-4 feet easy.

The ones I’m running have been in flower about a week 1 BD×Ba fem showing the rest I’ll wait to I’m positive…are in the 4’’ pots. I’ll post pics when light comes on also all 3 of the first BD×ptk fem clones took root…so yay. Lol

That happened to me before I got a chance to transplant out of the one gallon pots. All the males seem to flower like autos this year and this last batch went into flower and stretched 4x before I knew what hit me.

I had to get them into a bedroom to isolate them and they just got out of hand. I finally starved them and got pollen from them. Only used it on two strains so far.

My earlier males just plain grew big and wild. I tried keeping them on the back porch but all the plants outside got hit a little. I hope it’ll be worth it as I have about 10 different terpy strains at once.

Next run I’m not sure if I’ll keep any male. Damn, I had no idea it would be so hard for me to toss the males. It used to not bother me, lol. I would keep every one if I had the right set up. There is so much I don’t know about males cause we always trashed them. peace

This is the chaos. My spacing issue is because of a bug control issue and it’s starting to hurt. Tent is busting at the seams. 3x6 space can’t take much more.

I’ve got 2 weeks to go until I can move them into the big room and switch pots. Wish me luck :joy::v:

How did I miss this thread?? & How in the hell do you get away with them small ass pots?! Lol. I guess you’ve had years of experience making everything work… If I planted one of my Gs into a party cup, or 4 or 6 inch pot, it would go root bound within 2 weeks…Looking good Bro :grinning:

What kind of smells are you getting from the BDxPTK? @Jamescoldflame mentioned that one of his smelled like burning rubber. Not sure if any of yours have that yet, but it would be pretty rad if they did. :sunglasses:

You can see exactly where the light is the plants have a concave canopy. I’m assuming you’ve ran them like that before. Deffinitely a lot of plants. Since there isn’t a trellis up do you move them at all? I had side plants trying to peak over the lights.

I’m not gonna lie when the flower stretch happened. They were hanging out of the tent. I don’t like pics on others thread but I know the feeling. This was 1 NL plant that really smashed the rest. If I’d have had planted 5 of those. Holy shizer. I cant wait to see your harvest. :call_me_hand:

PTK is something Id love to try growing outdoors here in Canada…
Maybe next year.
Whats the anticipated flowering time on these? any idea?

I can’t say for sure until I grow them, but my best guess is 9-10 weeks. 10 weeks is a pretty conservative estimate though.

That’s about the way I’ve been gardening lately. Sort of reactive instead of proactive. I get a lot of miles out of a solo cup or 1 gallon pot anymore…smh
