Not the one in the co op. It’s ethos Slh f5, I just took it to f6 so I’d have lots lol. It’s really nice. They took lemon man’s lemon skunk crossed it jack herer then crossed that with greenhouses Slh to get the reg seeds, then they took to f5
Most likely SLH. Depending on what you want being the dominant trait in the cross. (If I understand correctly)
Other option is to reverse the BD6 fems, collect the pollen and put on a SLH female.
I’m also trying to wrap my head around breeding and all that’s comes along with it.
Sounds good.
You’ll still end up with a decent amount of seeds.
@Kushking902 thanks for the info man
@InTheWoods yeah lots to think about here.
I’ve never revered anything so I think the easier the better however maybe I keep an slh female in with it also and creed with a male slh so I can get those seeds also
Alright so with much deliberation, I’ve decided to take this on myself
I’m going to be using blue dream as the female and hunt down an SLH male to pollinate
I need to wait patiently to get seeds and then need to setup the tent area for the project.
I’m gonna be doing that in a separate room in my house and I’ll be taking many showers I think and washing many clothes
Wanna try to get it right the first time without mucking up anything to much
My plan at the moment is my 2x4 tent with a “200w” light I’ve been using for the past 3-4 years and gonna keep the plants smaller so it doesn’t get out of hand
I will probably be making a new thread for the actual grow and breeding and the first run of the seeds crossing my fingers
Thanks for all the help and info everyone and to @Tracker and @Kushking902
We just had SLH in the fall co-op there’s always a possibility someone would be willing to trade
Thanks man I got some lined up
Good for you man! I’m excited to follow along with this project
Ok so I’ve gotten the seeds I’m going to use for this cross!
Thank you to @Kushking902 and @Tracker! You guys are the best!!!
Now that I have the wonderful seeds, I’m going to start laying out the plan of attack
Gonna take me a bit to get this going as this is what I need to do:
- Germinate the BD seeds ( I’m thinking 4-5 seeds )
- Get them in the normal Veg tent under some lights and get them going
- Clean and setup the breeding tent
- Get an exhaust system setup for that tent
- Carefully watch the babies as they grow in the veg tent to see what looks good and what grows good (vigor and structure)
- Pick 2 or 3 for flower
- Take Clones from each and document/tag them and leave them in veg.
- Germinate the SLH seeds and get them rolling in the Veg tent and hunt for a male ( 4-5 seeds )
- Watch as the females grow, document their structure/growth/smell/look etc
- Find the potential males I want to use, take clones ( for later use if failed pollination ) and cull the others
- Put male in flower and really hunt
- Pick 2 clones from each female I saved move them to the breed tent, flip to flower and save the others. ( just in case of an issue of pollinating not working )
- Collect male pollen and then cull that one
- Wait for the right time and start pollinating branches
This may change in order of things but this is so far my plan
updating as I go
Feel free to comment with suggestions
I really do appreciate the help and knowledge from everyone!

Awesome! I’m glad to see you have a plan. I’m excited to see how it turns out. I’m following along.
I recommend that you keep clones of the SLH male and BD females around at least until you have verified successful pollination. If for whatever reason the pollen collection/storage/application doesn’t work out, you’ll still have clones to make another attempt.
This is a good idea, I will update this in my plan
So maybe instead of throwing the extra clones of the BD, keep them for a bit, to make sure we are good and then also take a couple male clones
Thanks brother!
Well dropped 5 BD6 seeds today
And so it begins.
Exciting! Good luck!
Little update. So they all kinda stalled but now they are moving again and there is definitely one that is looking better than the others.
And here’s an update on the BD6 girls
8 days since the last pic and they’ve been moving and been transplanted to 1 gallon pots.
Looks like #2 picked up the pace and has outgrown #1 and #3 is looking like I may be culling her. I’m not liking her leaves or growth.
Hi @MNGrower
I’m pulling up a chair. Love the positive vibes here.
Blue Dream and other haze hybrids have been my go to since I started smoking 10 years. My 2024 goal is to do a few seed increases and then crosses.
Thanks for sharing your Blue Dream x Super Lemon Haze cross journey.
@TricycleOfDoom eight on man yeah love them
Well stay tuned hopefully everything goes good
Good luck. Making seeds is so much fun.
But I’m confused…where are you going to get regular SLH seeds?
Yeah, it’s a bit of an issue. But, if we want to be purists here, blue dream is generally a clone only in many people’s eyes. The legit cut is available, but the beans, unless I’m S1ing them myself or it was documented by someone legit, I’d have lots of questions.
As to the SLH… I believe ethos, thunderfudge, and probably a few others did some BX Regs. The earlier ethos work they claim to use a hunted cut, the more recent they claim to have been told that the real cross was lemon skunk and jack, not SSH, so they allude to wrangling that together as some ‘eureka’ moment of that is the actual cross… Has anyone else claimed to have been told this by someone with some serious legitimacy? Excuse me for being a skeptic for not wanting to take Ethos’ word for it.
Franco must have confessed to them on his death bed!? I don’t know, it’s such a cannabis story…That said, it wouldn’t be surprising in the least to find that the claimed genetics of some of their strains are misrepresented by them.
Hi @Tracker . I’m very interested. Mind if I send you a DM?
