Dreadbread, phone home, pine apple, mom’s lavender lemonade, pure land hp and pinball wizard are all now in contention.
I’m leaning closer to an OMG cross at the mo, I like what I’ve read about the effects and think it’d suit me. Laughing Lemon could be a good one for the summer.
@minitiger I’m looking for similar finishing times due to lack of space and the need to control the smell when drying. i’ll be using the same tent to dry the plants in, I can also manage the drying temps and humidity better that way. Thanks for the thread reading recognition, did a fair bit of lurking too, before I made a profile, but that doesn’t count

It’s in veg right now. Very wide Afghani starter leaves, then down to normal indica size. Most of them show some purple, but one strange one is all green, and it has a weird leaf mutation that I’ve never seen before. On only one leaf petal, there are little leaflets growing up out of the center line. That plant also is exhibiting what I consider “vigorous male growth.”
Been there, man. I did the same thing five or six years ago. Don’t feel guilty; just keep them well-stored, and you’ll have an epic collection in a few years, once most of those are long gone.
Appreciate that man, yeah, definitely slowed down a bit, although I always seem to put an order in just before a bogo sale on GLG and then buy a load more to make up for it
Got em in a fridge, in tupperware with hygrometers so I know when to change the dessicants, keeping them around 10%
Here are two Bodhi Pine Apple I am growing at the moment. They are waiting on their turn in the flower tent. They have bud sites from the week I had them in the flower tent to make sure of the sex. Last year my first grow was a sausagefest, six of seven seeds grew up to be male.
This is happening with me also on 80s black afghan x a1 x 88g13hp. It started out as very wide indica leaves and now down to hybrid sized and it seems the longer it goes, the thinner the leaves get.
If at makes you feel any better, from what I’ve seen the BOGO sales have been few and far between at GLG these days. Sure, twice recently, but before that I feel like it’d been a long while (like, a couple years?)
Banana Spliff
Very very mold resistant. Somewhat OG’ish type plant of course. Had 7 females of the 12 I started. Still have the 2 most vigorous female’s and one male that had something special to it. 1 female was a mutant and it’s in 2 weeks flowering now, made clones of her also. Made a small batch of f2s with 2 males. Smell was og at first but banana started coming out of a couple after about 2 or 3 weeks curing. Very impressive with how vigorously the plants grew. Nice yields and 2 of the plants had the best banana/plantain smell and a very og type high.
That’s good to know, nice one. Maybe getting rid of stock for some new stuff, looks like there’s some new things cooking if those Instagram posts are anything to go by.
