Yeah i believe you are correct, if its A.S.S. i want a pk, ASS not so much. The JBC label of them as American Skunk Selection threw me off.

I think jbc is the only place listing it as Appalachian Super Skunk. I put a question into Morgan to see if she knows, if not Iām sure sheāll ask bodhi or sage when she can.

I donāt have the genetic knowledge you guys do, though I am an excellent researcher. I didnāt question it when it was first posted, but it seems like I am not the only one who is confused, or interested to know.
Can you share your impression, or differences, between American Skunk and Appalachian Skunk for someone who has less experience with a wide array of named strains?

I think itās those freebie series that bodhi released a.s.s # 1 /2 / 3 etc now that Iām looking at it on the speak easy website. I donāt recall what those were and canāt find it now that headie gardens is shut down as he explained what they were clearly.

Iād guess its the american skunk selection as bodhi has been releasing crosses with that recently. Havenāt heard anything about Appalachian super skunk work from him.
Bodhi used A.S.S. And hippy slayer phenos crossed to 88g13hp to make the outdoor skunk revival series, a total of 4 were released. Iāve got some info on 2,3 and 4 here
From what I understand the first outdoor skunk revival release did not go as bodhi hoped, he took a while to release the rest of the numbers.
From what I also understand the actual American skunk selection seed release was unreleased, or in very small quantities, and ended up in the hands of people like stray, etc.

bodhi never called appalachian super skunk ass in any way that i ever seen. ass = american skunk selection. ass āchaiā is an f3 (as far as i remember) pheno whereas other Ass releases for the most part use #1 the cut that he selected that smells rank af.

its likely just called chai because it doesnt smell like Ass #1 and he wants to differentiate it. somewhere on IG he mentions he has been lineworking the chai, just canāt remember where lol.

Anyone know of a bodhi pack that would be amazing for turning off your brain, and getting a great deep sleep ? I know they always say pure Indica or a bubba but was curious. If itās something readily available that I donāt have to hunt down and over pay for a pack with a mark up , even better.

SSDD male seems to have that effect for me, super relaxed indica high with baba kush. I wouldnt rec the g13hp male as ive found it to be really heady to start before chilling comes. Best ive found for that effect specifically is savage purple x t1000 from csi - the high is straight to sleep, no initial headiness.
