Anyone try Soul Axis or Terpenado? I made a cross recently with some Wookie seeds (I’m guessing an F2) that I got over a year ago at a seed exchange, wish I knew it was discontinued. Out of 5 I got 2 males and 1 female, the other two didn’t even pop. Smelled like fresh Ginger beer and mint, chopped the males somewhat last minute since I was crossing it with a chupacabra but I regret it now.
Did you know that an Overgrower gave Bodhi the Kashmir Azad to work and form the basis for all those Kashmir crosses?

Thanks @nube and yes I was aware and have messaged with @Barefrog before on breedbay. Pretty awesome community on here!
I read somewhere on here about flowering at 11/13 . Can someone please explain the reasoning behind this practice.
I do this religiously, and especially for sativa’s I think it’s better than 12/12 to make sure they finish.
My thought process is, outside of the equator, we naturally only have 12/12 for around 1 month a year(1-2 weeks twice a year). The rest of the time they’re either vegging with more or flowering with less, light. The only reason 12/12 became a thing at all was that it was easy, and 99% of strains will initiate flower at 12/12. But some indica’s will actually initiate flower with 14on/10off
And then sativa’s grow naturally at the equator with ~12/12. So shortening their daylight should cause them to try to finish sooner, or start flowering sooner, as a natural response from the plant.
Only downside I can tell is, you may get some stretchier plants.
Yeah, I usually decrease the light, starting two weeks from flower. Usually 15/9 for one week, two weeks before flower, then 14/10 for the second week and then flip to 11:45/12:15 for a month, 11.5/12.5 for three weeks, then 11:15/12:15 for like a week and finish out at 11/13. I feel like decreasing the amount of light they get in veg right before flipping helps with decreasing stretch, although this current grow I did that and most of the plants stretched pretty crazy, so who knows? I’m fairly certain that had more to do with the genetics, though. Also seems to me that mimicking nature as best we can always helps.
my reasoning is less electricity consumption
ive been running 10/14 for flower and 16/8 for veg for a couple years now. ive noticed no difference in anything aside from the power bill
Heck yeah that would be great
Just saw this posted by Dragboatjeff (BadDawg) at Great Lakes Genetics on RIU, thought some may be interested.
