I don’t mean to be a prick but GLG does not have the cheapest Bodhi packs. GLO’s been having them for 50$ for a while now.

Who is GLO?

I use them a lot and like them, some people complain no freebies but that’s irrelevant to me, I don’t buy seeds for freebies.
They had a terrible reputation a while ago so I was nervous placing my first order but its become my favorite seedbank. The sales aren’t reflected on site usually so you have to ask for the sales email if you want to see them.
Ffs I sound like a fucking sales rep use them or don’t lol
Edit: he does give breeder freebies if they offer them, like with Bodhi, but not his own

Damn. Off all the stuffs to get lost in the mail, this is not the order you want that happening to. Best of luck it resurfaces mate.

Hey man. Yeah. So both of mine had quite wide internodal distancing. They did stetch and I’d super cropped the apical growth a little but not much. Maybe pinched once or twice at the most. I wouldn’t say they had thin leaves quite so much. They’ve only been in jars for a week so early for a proper report. So far I’ve had a joint of each and a couple I’m friends with tried them in the vape. In the joint they have faint ammonia/garden shed chems taste at the start but a sweetness comes through towards the middle of the joint and then is quite Victoria sponge butter creamy towards the end. They are both strong. One is pretty stoney. I was joking with my friend that it’s more Beatdown than Uplift but can’t remember which one. Needs more investigation. I have to hang/dry plants altogether in one space and I suspect the terps interfere with each other to some degree so that I have to wait to trim/ jar and cure for at least a couple of weeks to a month or more to give my amateur but comprehensive assessment. They are different and interesting, dissimilar to things I’ve had before. Initially I like them more than the Melons and Headbangers I grew alongside. I’ve kept clones and a male as a just in case. And I can’t speak to how a Hells Angel or Snow Lotus grow just because I’ve only ever had outcrosses. I assumed that the snow lotus stays short, squat and the stretch came from the Hells Angel as you say but couldn’t confirm that. I’ll get back on whether I keep them around or cross them to something I think that would make for vigour. By far the best plant this grow was a black leaved Swashbuckler F2 pheno from Bongedtobits who I hope is well. Hope yours turn out nice for you.
Looking forward to the Black Triangle and Lavender Jack/ White Lotus Jack crosses I made. I actually stumbled on a comic book character online called Lavender Jack.

Wait, so you grew some Headbanger along with the Uplifts? That’s funny, I just harvested some Headbangers about a month or so ago. And I love it. Definitely my favorite weed I’ve grown in the last few rounds.

Yeah, I’d say wait until those Uplifts cure and then see how it smokes. The first jar of my Headbanger #5 had a pretty lethargic stone, but I just cracked the second jar of it last night, been curing for about a month now, and the high was completely different. Basically the opposite of the first jar. I’d imagine the same thing will happen with your Uplifts the longer they cure. I mean, Bodhi did name it “Uplift” haha, seems like the high should be, um, uplifting. Or somethin’…

One thing I will say about that Hell’s OG, which is supposedly a Blackberry/OG cross: Straight Blackberry Kush always had a very uplifting, positive, energetic high to me. I used to get it from my go-to dispensary in Echo Park, years ago, whenever they had it. Really good weed. Whenever I read reviews of it that say it’s good for insomnia or whatever, I’m always like,”What are you talking about?” Anyway, hopefully that’ll carry over into these Uplifts, too.

Yeah. Soz off topic for everyone else but I totally lucked out with the Headbangers. Grew a pack about 3 years a go and got 11 males from a pack of 12, one female and it’s awesome. Super strong but motivational and you can focus and the taste is sweet gassy awesomeness. Just grew out another pack last year just for interest and the two phenos were dumbed down in characteristics. Still good but not as good as the original.

Gonna cure those Uplifts properly for sure. Have a good’un man.

So I’m thinking about buying these seeds from a. Guy on instagram. And legitimacy to the star packaging??

I’ve definitely seen them use the star baggies at one point in time, several years ago.

Fingers crossed I get some snow leopard and strange brew then.

The packaging is legit, but I’d personally not pay for Strange Brew. It was a freebie for several years, and I feel like it’s pretty greasy for people to charge for freebies.

About the Snow Leopard, not sure how much money you’re being quoted, but I know a few people have been underwhelmed by the Tiger Melon crosses over the years…I think @torontoke ran one several times indoor and out and it didn’t live up to expectations. Not to dissuade you, just food for thought.

I ran tiger melon 2… nothing to write home about

Interesting. Didn’t know the strange brew was a freebie a while ago. Maybe I am over thinking it. Just heard the snow leopard was a really good strain. The strange brew interests me greatly

It’s one of those things that aint made anymore, I believe I’ve seen it in his stuff for sale a bit back a ways back.

If he finds somebody who wants it I’m sure the buyer will be elated.

Off-topic again, but according to Karma, he uses the exact same parents every time he does a Headbanger seed run. Not the same strain, but the same exact parent plants. Maybe it was just luck of the draw with your second run of them. Or maybe you found an amazing keeper from that one female. All three of mine turned out really, really good, though.

100% agree on the tigermelon crosses. I grew out snow leopard and while there was a pheno I liked, they vegged so slow it was cut from the lineup. I bought a pack of tiger mountain hoping it would be better, but the veg rates were again very, very slow. Smoke was ok, but nothing I continued to run. :v:
