Yeah true… I was even thinking more along the lines of choosing out at least the best females and just a single stud.
Since the F2 generation is pretty open to begin with how much do you think this would limit it compared to a regular open pollination of 10 or so plants?
To be honest, I dont know. But I figure with more beans coming from different potential males it increases the possible variability an order of magnitude per male if I had to make an educated guess?

Multiple is always better if possible unless you have a designated proven stud.
The difference is each male will throw a different characteristic.
I myself believe the male characteristics don’t kick in really well till F3-f4 status.

That’s a great show. It’s actually over 3 hours of interview broken into 2 shows. He has a way of getting me excited to be confident in my opportunities to work with what I have, and through lots of hard selection work, be able to come up with something special on my own, almost guaranteed.
He’s a very upbeat, positive vibe sort of guy. That’s one of my favorite podcasts because of the energy that @bodhi projects back to all of us. He’s almost challenging us all to do better and work hard in order to produce results that would please most of us. That one 2 show podcast always gets me back in the mood to follow my own instincts in making crosses. peace

I haven’t listened to the podcast yet…but as of lately, because of the strains I have, the strains that are coming and the knowledge of the OG crew, I find myself on the cusp of ordering more seeds…but then I hesitate (almost unheard of, I’m so impulsive)…I think of all the crosses and seeds I’m going to have…near limitless supply!! So fun!! So exciting!! So rewarding!!!
I think its an Ancient OG cross drop. I think OES did it earlier in the month and it sold out really quickly… The one im interested in is the Dogwalker OG x Ancient OG if its the same drop

I think you’re confusing Bodhi with Green Bodhi which is understandable. I’ve never heard of Dogwalker OG x Ancient OG from Bodhi but I know Green Bodhi has a few Dogwalker OG crosses and he had a limited drop with Dogwalker OG crosses not that long ago.
I think Bodhi and Green Bodhi did pair up for a fund raiser that I saw but it was Ancient OG and Tenzin Kush and a couple other Ancient OG crosses with GB so that might also be what is being referred to.
Yup thats what it was. I read through and looked at the original sale page on OES; it was a colab between Bodhi and Green Bodhi.
I’m struggling right now, guys…really, really bad. Anyone tried Bodhi’s Angelica (Hells Angel’s OG x 88g13hp)…ugh…this is brutal.
I grew it and was keeping one pheno around before shutting down. It was a nice kushy gassy hashy cross super frosty in my experience.
Hell’s angel og is from Snow, should be a goodin.

Ancient OG I have heard amazing things about. One recently auctioned from Bodhi to benefit fire victims here and abroad for close to $300 pretty sure.
