Well I just pulled the trigger on some older stock at GLG. Picked up Prayer Tower Indica, Superstitious and one more pack of SSDD. I think I have 2.5 packs of SSDD now. That is not including the seed run from OG.
Some day when life gets more legal and I can grow 40+ plants in my own back yardā¦Iām going to find me a SSDD keeper!

A friend gifted me some SSDD In maybe my first gifted seeds online, around 5 years ago. They were f2s that were created my mistake. He had an SSDD dad in another tent but had the ventilation going through them all, lol.
The first time I grew it I had 3 plants and one I left in a 1 gallon pot and took no clones. All s were beauties and great smoke, but the little one in the one gallon pot turned out to be a sour butter pheno. I swear I opened the jar in my living room and a roommate at the time yelled from his bedroom asking me what the hell I had in thereā¦ Dam it was some kind of good smoke.
So, Iāve got to hope I luck out with the rest of those and find her again, but not likelyā¦ who knows. Itās worth looking for I know that!

How often does a sour butter pheno show itself in SSDD? One every few packs? One per pack? Anyone will any experience?
Will 2.5 packs be enough?
Iām so glad my wife does not have my seed stock list. āI can see you have three of the same pack? Why would you just keep these packs of seeds and not grow them?ā

i ran one pack and got 7 females. didnāt find that pheno but what i did get was very nice. i have another pack im going to try eventually

My last pack had 2 Sour butters, and a BlueBerry Muffin so common enough. I still have 3 or more packs of if in the fridge.

@50State Blueberry Muffin sounds delightful. I grew a Field Trip a few years ago with a muffin like baked goods taste. Not fruity but more of a raisin bran muffin flavor. What was your preference, Sour Butter or Blueberry?

Cant wait to pop the Sunshine Kush. I liked the SSDD, and ive never tried bodhiās purple kush, so it should be great I figure

The Sour Butter retains its indoor terp profile better than the Blueberry Muffin when grown outdoors. The BM looses some sweetness and its blueberry terps outdoors. The SB yields about 20-25 percent more than the BM indoors and outs and both require support. Most people found the BM stronger indoors and outs and they preferred the BM taste. I really like the terps of the Blueberry muffin and its the one I like the most too I grow for me so yields donāt matter.
Indoors they like Nitrogen feed them extra for a couple weeks before flip or they can start fading week 4 to 5 and they slow down.

Yeah, the blueberry muffin is the more common and itās fantastic. Just the right amount of it all. Mine grew indoors and it was one of my favorite smokes. I ran out of it before any of the other strains from that run. Out of three, one was bigger and the BM pheno one was a softer version of it, and the small one gallon plant happened to be the dank sour butter. I loved smoking that SSDD at night. Itās nice.

I am still salty about not getting any 1 per customer from the last seed release. I had Sunshine Kush in the cart but it said out of stock at checkout. SALTYā¦Oh wellā¦ Itās not like I do not have a long list of seeds to grow.

GLG did that to me once during a new drop and Iāve never gone back. 3 packs of seeds in the cart shopping at check out a minute after drop started and canāt complete 2 of the 3 gone. Still Salty

am currently growing bodhi - oldschool hindu kush, except i mixed the seeds up with stardawg, well all except for one of them so iām expecting to be able to tell them apart
