I picked up some Bodhi packs during JBCā€™s 4/20 sale and received a freebie of AlphaKronikā€™s Ragnarok. That is Exodus Cheese x Kimbo Kush (which is Blackberry Kush x Starfighter). Iā€™m looking forward to growing those!

oh man that sounds tasty! I have a pack of exodus cheese from greenhouse on the way right now. Been planning on growing out my nl5/haze x sensi star from Mel to get a good male and use it to pollinate the exodus cheese. Make my own Northern Cheese Hazeā€¦ but weā€™ll see when/if it happens. Also, this is OT my bad

Took a long time to find this bodhi neirika seed trust description, so I thought Iā€™d post it here:

China Yunnan Cangshan mountain sativa collection #6ā€¦A resinous long flowering sativa from the cangshan mountains near the lake. side village of dali in yunnan china. open pollination of 12 females and 8 males. the plants are very resinous, but larfy with a strange motor oil smell with mellon undertones. no jet fuel, just pure motor oil. the effect is unique in that it has both the euphoria of a himalayan and the push of a SE asian in a nice balanced harmony. outdoor line for collectors. not a production plant

This line will be my outdoor breeding project this year. I will be doing a pure open pollination reproduction to preserve the line, and throwing in some female indica and hybrid clones from my indoor to join in the open pollination.

Iā€™m starting with the canghsan and a big guava hashplant female from my indoor. Iā€™ll add more females from my indoor grow as I go, and maybe start a few of my Lebanese Sinatra seeds outdoor as well for another hybrid option with a line Iā€™m familiar with.

Has anybody tried Magic Carpet Ride as yet?

One of a few strains that scored a Perfect 100 in both High Times and Las Vegas Cannabis Fairs. I grew one from clone last year outdoors. 8 Footer, sticky and, pleasing smoke (as relayed by the ones I gift herb to)

My spreadsheet is similar to that of @Northern_Loki, I just dont include the date I purchased em as until recently I didnt keep seeds for longer than 2 - 3 years. I also have all of my beans in cold storage (freezer in jars with desiccant) so I have to keep em logged so I can just go in, open up the specific jar I need, and grab the pack to reduce the amount of time itā€™s out of the cold.

Does anyone else buy multible packs of certain strains? Whatā€™s the most amount of packs you have bought of one strain?

I did this with quite a few strains.

Is that because you want more to be able to choose from and you go on big pheno hunts? Or is it so youve got an extra pack as back up?

Only bought bodhi once so Iā€™m not a good data point, but I could see multiple reasons for buying doubles.

I got a couple packs of space monkey and a couple packs of heavenly hashplant. Just started doubling up on packs myself.

Iā€™ve only doubled up on Mephistoā€™s Northern Cheese Haze so far. And thatā€™s only because its my favorite strain they offer and I want to make sure I have some on hand in case they drop it/closed store/out of stock.

Other than that I only want to double up on strains that are either one-timer drops that I think Iā€™ll like, or yeah for pheno hunting.

I plan large pheno hunts for when things go legal. I think cannabis will be legal enough in about 10 years that I could generate my ā€œspending cashā€ in retirement by selling bags to friends. Like having a friend who grows good tomatos.
My season of life does not allow me to move careers right now. I may start a small cannabis business someday.

Either way I have some solid strains to look through for mother plants. In 10 years I think people will still want some of these. At least I will.
These are the some of Bodhi strains I doubled up. I also have doubles of a bunch of freebies. I think I have two of every Lemon G crossā€™s also.
SSDD
Cherry Queen
Black Triangle

I have a few more not listed for sure. I did not really look through everything I have.
