Bodhi Plant and seed guide (Part 1)

Gold Star x Snow Lotus, harvested the top portion of the plant and these are a few shots of the lower branches. Seems to lean to the Snow Lotus side with a quicker finish than the last pheno I grew with more purple and less mold resistance, the aroma is similar though this one is less ammoniated. Polinated a few lower flowering sites with a male of the same strain and looks like to have made quite a few seeds.

I grew Bodhi Starflight Guava. Beautiful plants. All the ones I grew were dense compact plants. Not much stretch, but all had excellent structure. Cant speak too much to the flower, since I ended up getting russet/broads that run and tossed pretty much all the flower. Still looked great, but had a moldy taste, I presume that came from either mite shit or dead mites, since my rh during that grow was the typical 10% or less that we normally experience up here in the high country. I scoped them and couldnt find anything that looked like mold or rot, but I aint fucking around with smoking moldy shit ! I am hoping some of these Stardawg x SSDD seeds find there way to me at some point. I think there could be some really dank phenos in this cross. Jah will provide !

The plant had touches of mold in a couple spots but it didn’t travel throughout the plant like it did with other strains.

well cured Bodhi tester buds-

Ethiopian x old mother afghani
Pheno 1 keeper
smells exactly like ripe peaches and nectarines. It’s uncanny.
some batches have additional notes of sherry or dessert wine. I really love this one.

This was my keeper phenotype. I grew it for about 2 years for medical purposes, and to build up a decent stash before I stopped growing the cut. It was the highest yielding, easiest to grow, and easiest to clone, with a great high, and amazing flavor and smell.

It has been about a year since I last grew it, and I am currently dipping into that stash between harvests. Here are some assorted photos of buds from a few different batches. The first batch is cured for 1 and a half years, the second batch is cured for about a year.

This cut was really great, I almost wish had I kept it even longer.

I’m going to run these in my next grow. I am going to cross them with Kashmir Azad, too, but I am not sure what males to keep. Initially, I was going to keep Kashmiri males, so I could put a few different females in the room, but I was wondering if these seeds have enough value to the community to do an open pollination of them? That way, I could just keep a Kashmiri female or two in the room to get some pollen from the SSDD x SG males. Anyway, I am open to it and the seeds would be free for anyone that wants them.

If you can do a perservation run with them I’d think that would be the most preferable for the community. They’re definitely rare for a reason

I’d do it but already have too much to do, maybe 50state will do it if you don’t but it’s gonna be like a month before he gets them from me.

I’d love to do a preservation run. It would be an adventure and an honor. Unfortunately, I’ve got about 3 weeks of veg left on my Kashmir Azad grow, and I won’t have room to start anything else until they’re done, and I’m guessing they clock in at around 70 days of flower.

If no one else does it before me, I would really enjoy the opportunity.

I grew a couple Bodhi strains outdoor. Jungle spice and dragonblood hashplant. Both turned out good. Im in michigan so the growing season isnt too long. Any suggestions for a good bodhi strain for these conditions?

Ive never grown outdoors. But Space Monkey has some quick phenos that would probably finish in time for a short season. Heres mine at 8 weeks yesterday.
