Unless somehow they manage to get an amendment to the US Constitution written and ratified by enough states, it’s a lost cause. And since the D’s and R’s won’t work together on anything except defense spending, I think we can all agree it’s not gonna change. 
Edit: and this is flirting with the line of unacceptable political discussion in the Bodhi thread, so I’m gonna quit while we’re all still civil.
