Nope… my tent sits on a piece of foam insulation that sits on plywood that’s sits on a few 2x4’s to keep it away from the floor.
But!
You made me think of something… I recently added a blumats system so I could water the plants while I was away for Christmas for a few nights. Our smart thermostat goes into away mode and conserves energy by not kicking on the furnace as much and I bet the water in the reservoir reached a low enough temperature to shock the roots!!
I love learning. I love this journey… we all gotta start somewhere.
I pollinated the shit out of everything tonight with my one male bc why the F not… I won’t add these seeds to the community lot but will pass them around to those interested. Chemdog was a bag seed right?! Who knows what we’ll find…
If you ever have to deal with another power outage, during any grow ever: if you have a bunch of flashlights that you can spare (or even just a couple)(or even one flashlight haha), open the tent and set them in there. Or put them on a table or whatever and point them in there. Really, any source of light’ll do, flashlights or candles or whatever. Just get some sort of source of light in there, somewhere, when your grow lights would ordinarily be on. Think of it as an extremely overcast day or something. We don’t get a lot of power outages in LA haha, I think the last one was seven years ago, but I’ve actually got six flashlights sitting in a closet just for that purpose. I should probably check the batteries haha…
Whatever you end up deciding transparency with the finished seeds is key in my opinion. As long as people know whether or not the seed had a certain probability of being from intersex pollen there should be less chance of disappointment or conflict. Some people avoid glue and cookies crosses because the risk isn’t worth it while others don’t mind the risk if it means they may find something spectacular. On the other hand there’s always the possibility intersex traits show up in the F2s even if they weren’t present in the F1s.
The runt! It’s the only non-topped one. It’s a pretty similar pheno to the back left. I like the front right the most - it’s a tall OG leaner and is spraying pollen like a mad man. Needed staking. Might have to pull it a bit early to let the others get in a bit more influence. The back left one is a nice one as well - pretty dense clusters. Wish I could say I know which is stinkiest, but the pollen is too intense for me to do much smelling
What a beautiful sight; that’s a lot of Goji OGs! Nice documenting all 25. You taking clones of all them? You going to flower in the solos or transplant?
