C-Rex Cretaceous Cannabis Cave

Our pesticide laws, remarkably became overly strict, just before cannabis was legalized for recreational use. Mostly approval and labelling issues, and unwilling foreign wholesalers.

The poor bugger had a feast and then as usual, died in the corner after a while lol. So…the cave is down to 2 survivors for another week and then we are going to transfer some of the girls, who have been vegging under the sun, and letting Ma Nature finish off the remaining pests. I had thrips thru the winter so I shut down inside work exept for the bloomers. Here is the progress from the cave

should I say the Deck Pura Vida F2 from OG preservation run @nube ? Jungle Spice F2 from @lefthandseeds And this wild 10 footer which grew in my soil pile which we think is a Strawberry biscotti sundae ? which must have overwintered outside, lol Its a monster but I haven’t pinched her so the cola will brek the stalk and probably be all mouldy in this damp summer. Feral hemp in my soil pile interfering with the wifes clotheline of all the crazy shit, love the new quasi-legality ourselves. Sorry if I have misrepped who the seeds were run by through the OG preservation pack…

Yep, the Pura Vida F2 came from me. Happy to see someone else growing them out - yours looks very bushy! If your Pura Vida F2 is confirmed a female, I hope she provides a happy harvest. Let me know how she turns out!

After a close look today I have 2 Pura Vidas goin out there!!! They both look female, will know for sure in a cpl days, but hell ya 2 ladies. Looks like the 7 foot jungle spice may be a male but that one is hard to tell so far. I’ve killed 5 various males so far (one today), so we should be settled down shortly. I may do one of the PV inside to flower, gotta keep it to 8 plants outdoors…getting there LOL.

And a couple plant shots for scale[grid]

First one clone of Grape Pie x Mac F2 (Cannarado?) Second is Jungle Spice F2 from @lefthandseeds The 10 footer is sativa-ish with redish bud leaves, we figure from the sweet sells it to be Strawberry Bisccotti Sundae, but I’m skeptical. It doesn’t really grow like the Skunk crosses I’ve grown outdoors, I’ll have to look back to last fall and see what didn’t sprout maybe, and I didn’t have any indoor with that colorful young bud leaf growth. Which very frequently occurs outdoors IME, so I might have to smoke it to find out but that top cola will never withstand this humidity if it goes on til the end of August. June was awesomely dry, July was mostly Underwater. August so far is bud rot and powdery mildew heaven here…fingers crossed mates, nail biting season is here AAAAAHHHHH. Happy growing, I’ll try to post updates with these ladies.

First indoor Jungle Spice bud sampled (not by me) report is: slight spicy pepperish undertones with a tropical fruit cocktail finish, very pleasant taste and strength and longevity are at least 8/10. I’ll give her a go myself later. Great work @lefthandseeds Thank You. Have another still indoors as well as the giant girl on my Deck, about 8’ tall and puttin on the hairs. I’m sure i will be finishing these inside, along with the Pura Vida F2’s and the ODx Titanics but some of the others look like they may be able to finish outside, Lemon Wookie Traverse Cherries hopefully the Grape piex Macs. Keeping my bloomroom vacant and sterile until the outdoors become inhospitable. Then sterilize after they finish, and start fresh. Have to get to some soil mixing soon… Cheers

Ahh well brought 4 girls indoors tonight ahead of the hail/wind/rain. I figure on letting them sit in darkness until tomorrow night, then going 12/12 till the end. I don’t want to run lights during the day so I’m hoping that I don’t have a nannerfest next week. 2 girls look like 2-3 weeks off but the other 2 are a ways yet, outsiders are also a g00d 4 weeks till done ha ha. looks like hash heaven this november lol.

Hoowee… Looking REALLY good, dude! Those pink pistils… Gorgeous.

Thank you very much. That plant was an accidental that I think may have over-wintered, or a dud from midwinter 2020/21 that grew in my indoor soil reonditionong pile. Its as tall as the eves raised bungalow 12 feet tall thereabouts, its shed a few lowers from wind and weight over the summer, I can’t cover or move it so the nailbiting continues, removed 4 plants and are finishing them inside. The rot I had on one bud was trimmed off and seems to be fine. The huge Pura vida bush kinda toppled in the wind so I had to tie her up a bit. The others look clean. waiting, and hoping and wishing LOL isn’t that a tune from the sixties? Mother Nature can be tempremental at times, always afraid of budrot outdoors

You’ll be fine, dude. Positive vibes make for positive grows, ya know? I’m sure they’ll end up stellar. How could they not, with those gorgeous pink pistils? Haha.

The heavy rains and wind have half of the girls flopping and falling, looks like a bomb hit them. No broken branches just everything all bent over on their supports. The 4 plants I took inside to finish (to protect them from the weather) developed some PM 2 days ago so…they have been cut and H2O2 washed. Figures, well I shoulda put a dehumidifier in the room, but my old units bump the temps too much. I know where this years income tax cheque is going. PM moves fast so total chop was essential. 2 plants were done and the other 2 could have used another week. Hopefully the sun will get the outdoor ladies standing up a bit, it was 5 celsius lastnight…No PM or Mould outside that I can see…heartburn till mid October…Mac cross is just about done outside, the others will get as long as I can give them. The pink Amnesia is standing tall, Jungle Spice and Pura Vida are bending under the weight, I give them a little shake in the morning, to rid the water a bit.
