checkin you out, nice job
Would be the cleanest my area looked.
Alright now. Up-potting complete…
@Pigeonman @Old-Ron
DIY EarthBox/ Octopots…
Whole unit.
Inside & Underside
How to fill the netcup with cotton sheets
This one doesn’t have a net cup ( I broke the bottom too much, now I’m relying on “Moisture Whicking” …)
This is what all the root balls looked like
@FattyRoots the smaller containers are using Wallace Wow starter packs for 100% of the nutrients & some Rock Dust I sprinkled in for the entire grow.
Here is almost everyone (used black garbage bags tp cover soil under the snap on lids)
@TrevorLahey thank you
(((Feeding Megacrop by Greenleaf Nutrient’s)))
( 1 gallon / 4 liters Recipe )
Seedling to Adolescent (Vegging)
MC Part A (1.5g per 1gal)
MC Part B (2.5g per 1gal)
Epsom Salt (0.5g per 1 gal)
I actually used a 2 liter bottle, so I halfed this recipe Each DIY pot holds 1.5 liters of water in the rez, I filled all containers too the overflow holes.
Whole tent ( everything’s looks sad, I interrupted sleep to uppot lol )
Some are in smaller containers and will only be feed water ( because nutrients bag is in soil )
The Solo cups will stay the same as long as possible…
Could fit 9 of these pots in a 3x3 tent with wiggle room for plants to grow.
Ps. Everything is labled as to what plant is what
Enjoy.
Things look good
Triple digits! Never seen them before!
Nice scale, @CADMAN! It’s exactly what’s needed when you mix your nutes in a thimble!
Pretty much lol my rez holds 1.5 liters haha.
CADMAN, have you thought about becoming a pharmacist?
Or a clock maker, I think you’d put together a cool watch.
Neither lol
Nice! Cheering ya on the front lines of the pit!
Everything is perked up now that the light is on and the pots have sucked up some water+nutrients, incl the one that doesn’t actually have any whicking net cup, just relying on “Moisture Whicking” without any physical assistance.
Looking perky today @CADMAN. Those DIY buckets look like they should do the trick just fine.
Also wanted to apologize for not clarifying the whole “seedling to adolescent” description I gave you.
I consider this period to be from first sprout, up until they have 1 or 2 nodes and what you’d normally call a “plant”.
But once they really start growing (for my autos usually only 1-2 weeks from sprout) I switch to the 2.5g/2.5g per gallon mix. That’s where all the magic happens and what you’ll be mixing the most of.
The flower formula I usually switch to when my plants start flowering (go figure lol) and I cut it back a little bit during the last few weeks instead of flushing.
Another thing to note, is that you can adjust these dosages up and down should you see your plant in excess or deficient of something. Just grab a calculator and increase or decrease by 10-20%.
Thanks
No worries that’s exactly what I was thinking too. I have them all the 1st dose at the low side, next dose is the 2.5g/2.5g per gallon mix because my new scale is coming today ,)
Yeah that’s the other thing, I know there was lots of diff opnions on flushing plants or not. I know with 100% Organics there is zero need to do this, and I believe that the last few weeks the plants definitely need nutrients as apposed to having less, but do you thinks it’s really necessary to flush the soil with lots of water to flush the plants at the end?
Whatever the majority does, do the opposite.
Got my scale… Now I can actually measure the nutrients correctly…
Freaking micro dosing plant nutrients for 2 liter bottles lol @TrevorLahey
@Mithridate Evil Pineapple the roots are growing quick only 24hrs after being up-potted.
Look at those roots taken off.
Vigorious glory of magnificence! Wooooo!!!
This sounds like an elite Magic the Gathering card
