@CADMAN that cannagar tool looks sweet. I’ve been making cannagars for years now, but I do the old fashioned way. I take the tiniest nugs left in the bottom of my cured jars, dip or spread a little home made BHO in ISO oil on the tiny nug and stick it to the skewer. It’s painstaking and time consuming. Once I have a thin layer of tiny nugs covering the skewer I wrap it in waxed hemp twine fairly tight, then wrap it in wax paper (or parchment) and refrigerate for a week. Then I’ll take it out, unwrap everything, and fill all the gaps in between my small nugs with more oil touched small nugs. I will repeat this 3 or 4 more times, then repeat with wrapping oil coated leaves. Each time I wrap a leaf the cannagar gets cured in the fridge for another week. I usually do 3 or 4 leaves, depending on the coverage.

In total it takes me 6 - 8 weeks to make one and they are usually left to cure in the fridge for at least a month after I’m done, then they get moved to my humidor and stay all wrapped up in there for months as they cure.

Here is one with 2 leave wraps and one with no leaf wraps yet.

The weed is never ground and as it’s a cannagar constructed of solid buds it burns for and incredibly long time. Five of us smoked one for 1.25 hours, put it out and finished it in about 30 minutes the next day

Looks awesome man. I unfortunately am not that talented

I used the Cannagar Mold with Fresh Buds ( after the initial dry) Coarsely ground up, packed the F outta it, then sealed it and cured it in the freezer for about 200 days. Took It out kept it in a jar ( still sealed ) then day 214 wrapped it with 4 large Cannabis leaves ( 2 layers ) I had pressed between books for 2days, used Non Flavored THC Distillate for glue to keep the leaves on perfectly.

Now I’ll let it cure for a while longer to get the green flavor out of the leaves before sparking this sucker up… I expect it to burn for a good while, since it’s 4 grams worth of Cannabis…

What’s yours look like unwrapped ?
Does your smoke smooooth ?
This was my 1st one so I don’t know lol

Mine definitely looks more home made than yours. A little rougher. Smokes soooo smooth. I use little buds that have been dried and cured fir at least 6 months.

Here they are unwrapped. One will get one more leaf wrap the other will get one more bud coverage and then 3 - 4 leaf wraps

With these you can male them a large or small as you want, ive made one that was about 7" long and 1" thick and I’ve made ones that are just a tiny bit bigger than a cigarette

Very cool stuff man. I dig it alot. I did attempt Orginaly to make one your way, and I failed :pensive:
So I went with the Mold = 1000% easier for me lol

Yours probably get you high as F

Thanks man! It gets a bunch of us high as fuck, lmao.
It definitely takes time and patience. Especially the first step, it’s really hard to stick all the tiny nugs on without knocking the others off, I will cover about 1 or 2 inches the wrap with the twine up to that point and continue a little bit at a time. Once refrigerated the oil adheres the buds to the skewer alot better and the following coats are a bit easier.

I am the opposite, I have trouble getting males! Few tricks for getting more females.
-cooler Temps
-dont let the soil completely dry out
-Slightly higher ph
-less nitrogen

Very good advice , I find the temps really seem to play a role in very early development. My mentor/great friend has actually been testing this theory and others his last 4/5 starts. We have had very similar findings to what you stated @Jinglepot

I didn’t really notice until I started breeding. My buddy pointed out to me the large quantity of male he was getting compared to myself while running the exact same seed stock. We did a little deductive sleuthing, before research, lol, and that’s what we found. :+1: science!

We are actually testing how much of a role RH and RH swings play atm.
