Here @Fuel @Northern_Loki @OniTenshu @LemonadeJoe this is something else I have consider playing a part… Once again completely understand it is only a simple hypothesis yet to be proven or disproven. But it does feed the imagination… Where does that lead us? On a path to discovery or potential http://jgp.rupress.org/content/45/5/879.abstract
Interesting. Now I need to find out why.
I wonder if the current stimulation could be just another part of the growers arsenal. Combined with SoG, proper ec measurements and control, an ideal environment, and controlled stressors that steer production towards THC and CBG would be a force to deal with if that’s accurate.
The only issue I’d see there is you’d probably see a leaning towards pine, lemon, pepper, and eucalyptus smelling buds if the plants think they’re dealing with a pest invasion. Hopefully good breeders step in at that point and mix up the genetics a bit.
A world of possibilities… Just trying to feed the imagination. As I said I’m a little short on resources to properly test scientifically to prove or disprove.
When you get that ready to post hit me up on that Fuel… I’d like to see it.
I’m actually building motherplants, and the tutorials will be made with a fews clones of one unique source (the same specimen). You can lurk the veg space in my grow log to known when i will be ready for that, i think maybe within 3 or 4 months.
The goal is to take at least an half dozen of clones, then use different methods on each one. This way people will be able to watch the comparison and judge the difference of timing for each method in regard of the conditions of their crop. When the grow will be fully finished (to the harvest), i will regroup it outside my grow log in a specialized thread.
Early indications is yes… It is a viable hypothesis worthy of testing in more controlled studies. I would suggest clones from the same plant so to have a controlled group. One untouched, one as you normally trim, and one tops. Kind of hard to do it properly at this time myself. I would be interested in your results. You may not produce quantity but I definitely see improvement in quality!!! No joke
