Andrea Laverty, 64, of Millbury, was sentenced Wednesday in federal court in Worcester to one year of home confinement, The Telegram & Gazette reported. Her son, Thomas Laverty, was sentenced to 12 years in prison on Tuesday for his role in the scheme.

In other words, the different approaches to these two industries have never made less sense – if the feds can tacitly bless gambling, they should certainly feel comfortable doing the same for cannabis.

so true - we are living in bizarre Prohbition 2.0 - it’s like requiring that cotton be grown indoors under lights - not even close to a free market

Others forbid outdoor cultivation altogether, including Illinois where one can find massive indoor grow facilities plunked onto beautiful farmland.
