Cannabis Current Events (Part 1)

I agree that it could be an excess of anything. When we harvest we like the plants to be hungry. It’s a fine line between starving them and giving them “just” enough. Often our harvest colors mimic fall colors with yellowing of fan leaves

Been using miracle grow for decades for my weed, even started a support group thread:joy::rofl: and for sure, does not taste like that. I have grown rough smoke, smooth smoke, shittty smoke, top notch smoke. ALL with the SAME plant over 20 some years, all with miracle grow. The way you grow it, the environment, and drying has way more to do with it than anything else. I can say this with certainty, as I am still growing the very same plant from over 20 years ago. My nutes never changed, just how I have learned to grow it.
I have had fools try and tell me it will kill my plants…still waiting
You have a moral issue against them, that’s great you can. But to say it does not work, or causes harsh smoke, well that’s just a fantasy world.

It ranks up there with saying an old mother doesn’t produce good clones. Clones lose their “stuff” after so many generations. It’s all false. I live it, I grow it. My mother is over 20 years old.

I second this, millennial here, cdl qualified, no one wants to drive truck anymore because the big firms out there will throw a driver under the bus to keep their business operating.

They want you to drive for extra hours and lie about your drive times on your logs.

Most of us just want to get in a truck and drive from point a to point b, without having to check in every 10 mins or lie about travel time.

This is why I got out of trucking after 12 years.

Have a few truck driver friends… They all hate e-logs… “Oh look, I am 3 miles from the drop, and I can’t drive for 8 hrs”.

All I know, it tasted like crap. Burning, coughing, current offerings with “chem” in the name kinda remind me of them. When I grew 10 yrs ago I was off MG, and when I jumped back in, no MG. Honestly, they taste better to me (and thats what matters to me). There’s a few good explanations above on how it can affect the taste, slower release, inability to flush out excess N and P.

I’ll use it in the veggie garden, but not on my ladies. To each his own… (and I’m not suggesting you buy the latest 20 part canna fert either, there’s plenty of good and natural stuff to amend the soil with thats not instant gratification, and lots of those ferts have good marketing and supposedly make miracles happen)

I clearly have no moral issue with them if I use them on the veggies. Just passing on my own experience for others to read, digest and decide on their own.

Like I said. Tastes like sprays of some kind. Likely something on the approved list like anti-fungals to prevent PM and or bug sprays. smelled weird and tasted weirder when smoked. I’ve sampled 4 or 5 different ones he got and the only one I asked for a bud to take home was when he bought an oz bag of some of that Trailer Park Boys bud before the gov’t made them change the name to something generic. That wasn’t bad at all and had a nice buzz to it.

He could have bought some of mine a lot cheaper and I won’t use anything but Safer’s soap spray and only in veg so there’s nothing on my buds even if I have to fight thrips by hand all thru flower. Done that a couple times.

Sometimes I would have liked a limit on my driving hours up here but rarely drove too long on the highways. Mostly in the bush so just kept a log until I got to where I went into the bush then drew a line under my last entry and scrawled Off Road under it. Once went 56 hours without sleep running water for a rig when they lost circulation. Was up for 8 hours already when I got the call, hour to get ready to go, hour to the truck and almost 10 hours to get to the rig going non-stop once I got there. When I switched over to running Super-B oil tankers we at least had a sleeper so a guy could grab some shut-eye decently.

Really don’t miss it at all.

The above is a fairly large part of why what happens below is a growing concern.

Illegal cannabis farms are wrecking the environment, no mention of the US gov opening up state parks for mineral mining, or the gov now changing the epa laws to allow non treated water from factories being pumped straight into rivers, you just have to look at all the cancer stats in Virginia around the coal mines to see the effects of ground water pollution from the billions of gallons of highly toxic contaminated water being pumped into old coal mine shafts no longer being used.

No mention of big agg fertilizer run off causing dead zones in the sea either, obviously these small illegal grows are not making enough tax money to be overlooked.

Its funny how this study has just come out, when a study of young adults getting the mRNA vax shows 62% are developing micro clots afterwards and a lower percentage getting myocarditis.

This study will probably be used by the vax court to refute damage caused by vaxes and void any compensation
