You may smoke Cannabis if we give you permission, and you do it how we say. What a bunch of control freaks. It is better but what a bunch of egotistical, patriarchal, narrow minded blowhards.

it’s just the “company town” mentality showing itself, it’s the same families still in control. You’re sick? no worries, we’ll sell you all the meds you need, enough to get all the wages back that we paid you.

That might be good news for smokers. If Cohen and Boehner are comfortable so close to Cannabis businesses they might accidentally put in work towards our benefit.

We should make sure every stoner and pothead in the country knows the names of their brands and companies!
(To boycott them, of course.)

My state just recently added opioid dependence to their list of approved ailments. Though I do have some conditions in there not the healthiest person the above-mentioned condition is the only one I qualify for. Technically anyways.

Sad day for Maine and the rest of the US cannabis community. Maine just voted to over-ride a direct vote of the citizens by doubling the cannabis tax rate and cutting the number of plants “allowed” in one’s garden by half.

This is the first time in the US that a “legalization” state government has rescinded home-growing rights enacted by a referendum. Needless to say, this is what the industry is going to want and push for in every state. To send the cops back into peoples’ gardens and that’s where they’re going to go in Maine

Similar thing had occurred in Massachusetts from what I understand, referendum wording was not explicitly followed but instead modified by the legislature to be significantly more restrictive such that .gov could gain a sizable tax revenue. And, iron fist control over cultivation/sales. Basically, they overrode the safe guard language that dealt with the black/gray market sales in the name of taxation.
