excellent article from Leafly on the future of professional growing:
Thanks for sharingā¦
I read that opinion piece yesterday morning and decided not to post it here. In my estimation it is breathtakingly delusional in itās misperception of reality. The author obviously has a large and very dull axe to grind. Scapegoats and Boogeymen are employed in this vile work of sophistry.
I also read this opinion article yesterday morning and think that it makes for a suitable companion for the spurious piece you posted.
It is somewhat negative regarding cannabis, however, it is not totally unreasonable.
IMOš
I have read a few articles talking about how āweā should treat people (us against them) who smoke cannabis because it might hurt society. (the greater good) I cringe when i read articles that take this authoritarian stance. It is all about control and keeping power and influence from the āundisireablesā.
The clear truth.
I also miss Carl Saganš
Very interesting!
I wonder if these āfactsā are correct or he makes assumption based on false facts. Heās trying to say that Colorado hasnāt analysed public costs (healthcare, addiction recovery, preventative work) after legalization? It is hard to believe that no such data are available. And he presumes that costs will be higher than income on taxes.
In fiscal year 2016, marijuana tax revenue resulted in $156,701,018. The total tax revenue for Colorado was $13,327,123,798, making marijuana only 1.18% of the stateās total tax revenue. The cost of marijuana legalization in public awareness campaigns, law enforcement, healthcare treatment, addiction recovery, and preventative work is an unknown cost to date.
Yes, the gentleman who wrote the screed is not interested in ascertaining any āfactsā relating to legalization in Colorado. His mind is made up, and his writing is a desperate, last ditch attempt to advance his transparent agendaā¦a pathetic effort to vilify marijuana and the very use thereof. He is entitled to his opinion, and that is all his article isā¦his personal, fallacious opinion.
In my opinion!
This is an all too common tale of woe.
Interesting nonetheless.
All states need to fully legalize the benevolent weed!
Stop the madness.
Ex-NFL player Ryan OāCallaghan: Marijuana is a godsend for NFL players
This is funnyā¦and interesting.
This is long overdue.
Legalization seems to be gaining irresistible
momentum,

This is what needs to be done in order to eliminate black markets nationwide.
Very simple.
I got a good laugh from this storyš
This is interesting.
Not only for college sports fans.
Hmmmmm?
Candid Coaches: Getting real on marijuana legalization, testing in college football.
Sounds like our college coaches are rooted in ignorant philosophy which is ironic since they teach at the highest level of academia.
Yea, I know, right?
I was admittedly, surprised when I read this.
Made me scratch my head.
So, you can live in a pot-legal state and be beaten@ school for smokinā¦ Wowā¦ thatās absurdā¦
DS
I imagine political thought is influencing willful ignorance. They sure didnāt get those ideas by long hours of research.
@ryasco,
I think the Coaches adhere to a truly old school way of thinking about the benefits of restricting his players pursuit of any and all āvicesā during his sportās season.
No drinking, no smoking cigarettes, no chasing girls into the wee hours! And naturally no fornication before the game!!
So of course, no smoking weed fits right into their perception of how to optimize their players on field performance.
There need to be some studies conducted as to how cannabis may diminish or enhance athletic performance.
