Bacily any breeder thats chasing money. Youll notice the sick breeders like mr nice, subcool, bodhi, etc dont do fems or autos why? Because this growing game is about paitence. The only reason i have autos is because the light cycle dont change to 12/12 here till around sept or oct.
Anything “auto” automatic, etc. is a not a photoperiod plant, So it would have ruderalis in the genotype.
Many breeders are out there doing ruderalis hybrids. However, there seems to be a little bit of work to get the generation to autoflower, The F1 of a Ruderalis and Indica/Sativa hybrid does not show the phenotype of autoflower, the F1 has to be backcrossed to the P1 Auto to get the autoflower phenotype to show. Something like that. But I’m not a big autoflower person, its midgrade, very sticky but low yield. Lucky to get an OZ off a plant.
Auto’s are for the most part difficult to clone, only in tissue culture can it be done.
Most seedbanks have automatics or auto’s these days.
Hi Mad scientist,
Is it the exact wild growing landrace ruderalis strain you want, or a certain strain of auto ?
I’m not sure wha the genetic or pheno is but they have always seemed to list it at sensi-seeds for decades.

I used to be able to see it growing wild in northern europe at the side of the motorways / highways decades ago, not sure if someone planted them or not, or if they were actually the wild ones?
No that’s ok, i didn’t think it would be that difficult, plus making autos just for the heck of it doens’t sound like much fun. Thanks guys. @MadTruka @lotus710 @GrowerGoneWild
