It’s time for us Casey Jones lovers to share some grow pictures, experiences, and stories about this awesome strain.
For anyone who doesn’t know, Casey Jones was created by Head Seeds and is the result of crossing Oriental Express (Trainwreck x Thai) and East Coast Sour Diesel.
In my experience it’s a sativa leaning strain with very special earthy and fuel terps, although there are different expressions based on grow and pheno type. CJ I grew outdoor this year had a much different profile compared to what I’m used to indoors.
With all that being said, here are some pictures of various CJ plants I grew over the last few years. All from Reg seeds:
This is one of my F3 seeds. I originally received 5 F2 seeds from a good friend a while back. Two of those popped and turned out to be male and female:
Here is a tent full of Casey Jones Sour Bubble from @LouDog420 along with the original Casey Jones F2s I received elsewhere. The plants on the very left are the CJ F2 as clones I took:
And finally, some of @LouDog420 Casey Jones IX I was lucky enough to get my hands on. These are now available with the Beans for St Jude donation raise:
Casey jones is awesome! I grew dozens of those cj x sb back in the days outdoor guerrila in the NE… they are amazing plants and you can find some insane phenos!
I still got some stock here. They getting old. Should try to get some going…
Pure casey never really had the chance, but will def scoop some from @LouDog420 !
Casey is a really nice one. Didn’t seem to be as popular over here as other places. @Connoisseur_Genetics had some good Casey stuff back on the day. I’m sure he does now too. Seems to have a million things on his lists.
Popped a pack and had 9 to select from in 2010. Found the colored cut and have been searching for her again ever since she was lost in the shuffle of life. Sometimes its the look, sometimes the smell, sometimes the frost, but need to find it all in one package…
You know I always loved my casey. Miss her and those $5k units
