Heaven isnt involved. Science is.

Like with many things we have to have a degree of trust in the science. I donā€™t trust any of the marketing; but everyone I know working in health care is saying the same thing. They have SO MUCH MORE EDUCATION on the subject matter than I do; so Iā€™m listening as I canā€™t justify an internet education vs university education + real life application and experience.

Unless you wanna go hard solipsism and argue we cannot know we arent just brains in a jar or the only conscious computer program in a simulation.

We have been here before. When my mother was young she got Polio, I am guessing moat dont know much about Polio, why, because Vaccines took care of it. I was in the group that were the last to get the Small Pox vaccine, why, because the vaccine all but wiped out small pox. When looking for long term data you have to wait for a long time to pass. I am guessing it is the vaccinated that will be alive to read that data once it becomes available.

Hence the quotations

Talk to you in thirty years !! Iā€™m 27 and I say hell no

Iā€™m a long time gambler and to me getting the vaccine is worth the risk.

Forget the science - if you want to go to school, see a concert, travel, work for a major corporation, you are going to need to be vaccinated.

Right or wrong this is the world we are going to live in.

This has nothing to do with freedom of speech. Why bring that up? Do you think it is relevant?

Iā€™m talking in a chat room trying to not offend anyone due to me saying how I feel.freedom of speech

Which isnt what freedom of speech is.

Iā€™m 40, have peers above and below my age because each generation has different inspirations to give me, to learn from me, and me to learn from them.

Anyone above my age = no hesitation to do the greater good thing.
50% below my age = entitled lack of reality check because they were raised in the ā€œnot one child left behind / everyone is specialā€ culture; which i personally find fucked.

To explain the ā€œnot one child left behindā€ ā†’ you are no longer allowed to fail a student in elementary/middle school. You HAVE to pass them. Since this has been going on in my city Iā€™ve noticed a shocking amount of folks that donā€™t understand a lot of the consequences the world has in store for them because they never had them!

This is how things like Fyre Festival became a thing.

Edit: my former co-worker was 29, immune compromised and couldnā€™t deal with a lot of people in her age group because no one is respecting her needs. Add to it the female experience issues and you have a world of internal rage to deal with.

Freedom of speech [2] is a principle that supports the freedom of an individual or a community to articulate their opinions and ideas without fear of retaliation, censorship, or legal sanction

Itā€™s not ?
