I cracked the screen on my about halfway through paying it off. Itās payed off next month though.
In the interest of full disclosure.
Well, for whatever reason both Yeti and Shitseeds refused to wait for Joe to get back in the saddle and provide the details of sponsoring OG.
Without sponsorship absolutely NO promotion of products, websites, services etc.
Itās too bad that they did not have the patience to wait for Joe.
So instead of building up goodwill and camaraderie within the community here, and thereby paving the way for their future sponsorship, they refused to stop with the promotional posting in the interim.
uhm, dude, thats a signā¦
Can I ask HOW???
Go here and it will brighten your day.
Suppose someone wanted to make fem autos from other fem autos using reversal. The lines in question would be somewhat stable, generations F4+. If āXā reversed females are used to pollinate āYā recipient females (of the same line, sibling mating), what numbers do you think would be necessary to get a worthwhile F"N+1" generation of seeds?
Ya its a bit odd, nothing from their last few days of activity would really warrant this so I am pretty confused. This shit is why I changed my mind last night when Yeti was giving seeds away to Canadians, I was going to hop in and help out the Americans with a few packs but I still feel insulted and weird about my thread and other thread getting shut down. We have just been sitting on these seeds, unsure what or when to do something with them, pretty lame.
Instead of putting the phone down, I tried to put the screen protector on while I was standing in my garage. Dropped it right onto the concrete
ANYONE in the path of the Hurricanes approaching the Southern Coast, I wish you nothing but Good Luck and safety. As best as you can, SS/BWā¦mister
Also, where do yāall get your silver nitrate / sodium thiosulfate? And given these permutations for a fem auto project, what sounds most interesting/useful:
Sibling mating by reversal of one of two strains, (F4 or F7 respectively) to produce F5s/F8s.
Reversing one of those strains and crossing it with the other to produce F1 hybrid seeds.
Reversing an existing F1 hybrid cross of those strains and crossing it with one of the parents to create Bx1s.
All of the STS ingredients are available on Amazon. Be sure which Sodium Thiosulfate you get there, they have both the Anhydrous as well as the Pentahydrate. If you go with the Pentahydrate youāll need more in the mix
Thanks for the tip! Is there a better place for me to post the question about this project?
Iāll level with the folks here, my project in consideration is basically getting some Mephisto gear and doing one of the aforementioned things with the following theoretical crosses:
Skywalker F7 x Reversed Skywalker F7 = Skywalker F8
Mango Smile F4 x Reversed Mango Smile F4 = Mango Smile F5
(one of the two reversed) (Mango Smile F4 x Skywalker F7) = Mango Sky F1 (previously released as a freebie tester)
Reversed Mango Sky F1 x Skywalker F7 = Skywalker Bx1
Reversed Mango Sky F1 x Mango Smile F4 = Mango Smile Bx1
here is as good a place s any atmā¦since itās just āgeneral chatā basically lol
the reason I say to go with one over the other is the anhydrous is pure, no water molecules and the Pentahydrate has 5 water molecules
Iām curious @JohnnyPotseed .
Why does forcing a sex reversal with STS not create a generation of seeds that are prone to herm, but leaving a light on during lights out and having one herm and pollinate the crop will create seeds that have that propensity.
That question has bothered me ever since I heard of intentionally reversing a plant.
Does anyone out there have an understanding of this, and can explain it in terms this old boy can grasp?
The science behind it is pretty positive, as much as I can find to readā¦ NOT going by āhe saysā or āI heardā here, ok. The hermies pollen will produce hermies, the nature of the beast, so to speak. But, the reversed pods will have āfemale pollenā so to pollinate with that gives you the āfeminized seedsāā¦
The one that herms as a stress response during flowering is passing on genetics that will be more prone to herming as a stress response during flowering. Spraying STS inhibits the plant from producing ethylene. The presence of ethylene in turn inhibits the formation of pollen sacs.
Without the presence of ethylene, the plant produces pollen sacs containing pollen, but that pollen cannot carry a Y-chromosome because the plant does not carry it. You are technically selecting for plants that produce viable pollen sacs when ethylene production is inhibited, but thatās an abnormal growth condition. If you donāt inhibit the production of ethylene they shouldnāt produce pollen.
Where do the BOG t-shirt & Sebring shirt come from!?!
The University of MassachusettsāAmherst. has a very simple and fairly easy to read (not too longwinded) paper on this . I canāt find the link atm but you can do research on it at several Agricultural Universities.
editā¦ lol I had to find out for myself, since Iām just not a very trusting person naturally! lol
Seen too many instances of āmisinformationā under the guise of āgoodā info
prime example was this budtender told me to use that energy drink on the plants!! āHe doesā RedBullā¦ I left the dispo immediately without passing āGOā or collecting my 200
Iāve been reading about and listening to alot of podcasts about this stuff. Itās really neat!
And NO! lol I have never had the desire to āgive it a goā just for shits and giggles to see āIFā ā¦not no but HELL NO! smh at some of the things folks do to the magical plantā¦
I wonder if it would be possible to use an ethylene-producing spray like Florel on a male plant to inhibit pollen sac formation. Would it just keep vegging? Would it stress out and die? Would it create male buds? Iām curious but not enough to find out myself lol.
