Personally, that “wattage” means utter garbage to me, its irrelevant in most terms. I have 1000w blurples that pull 215w. When the light manufacturers wanted to be able to compare to HPS / MH lamps, they f’d up doing that.

That being said. its a very tough call in terms of “can they grow well”, both tents perform well in my eyes. Fit and finish, you wont go wrong with the P4000. But if heat is your biggest concern, I’m not sure of the marshydro TSL2000 has remotely placeable ballasts (the TSW2000 does). Still the P4000 gets warm, but nowhere near a CMH bulb, a 195 cfh fan keeps the tent same tent as the room it pulls air from (venting to outside). hottest I’ve gotten is 85, and thats because the dehumidifier ran nonstop for a week raising the room temp 6-7 degrees

edit: remember the Marshydro TSL / TSL 2000 are both 300ish watts
The Viparspectra is like 400ish…

So their numbers in the model numbers are just marketing fluff

Of you wanna max it out and go over kill to have them for future tents, go 2x spider farmer se3000’s. Thats what I have in my 2x4 tent with the same idea of being enough for bigger later. Dimmable and can link in series. 320 with no tax and free 75 watt goose neck light from their website or 260 with tax on ebay sold direct by them. Meanwell drivers, samsung diodes and osram reds. 600 watts total for $520 from ebay.

Is that 10 am or pm , also what time zone lol

That’s what kills me is they just label them xxxW and it really means nothing. Makes it way harder to get a handle on it. Less heat, more headroom, save a little on electric possibly are all cool and would be great, but to invest in a new light I need to clearly see better yields/denser buds/something to really justify it. You seemed pretty certain about it so that’s good enough for me lol. I do like the idea of a remotely placed ballast though so that’s a consideration.

I just checked them out and I like how they link like that. Nice small footprint each too. Well damn might have another contender in the mix

I think 10 am to 12 pm, no idea the time zone.

He wrote 10 - 12 am then 1000 to 1200, which arent the same thing.

Talking for others instead of waiting for them to speak for themselves is fun!

SpiderFarmer are very nice lights too, haven’t bought one yet, but I would be keen to try one out. They do look well made and have good reviews…

I just read something that suggested they’re all part of the same parent company, something about how Samsung doesn’t have any Chinese customers so most Chinese LED lights that claim them are lying. Then something about how the people that say such things are lying scumbags

I love how easy it is to get a clear answer on internet forums. Makes me appreciate OG much more!

I have 2x MH TSL2000’s and they’re solid.

I also have a spider farmer 2000 which i prefer for the driver and heat output but the spread isn’t like the tsl2000 at all. If i went SF or VS i’d go with 2x 1000 units for a 2x4 and 4x for a 4x4.

I started out thinking just max the tent with a light but I am seeing some merit in 2 lights the more I think about it.

What do we now about COB people?

No idea about cobs… yet.

In my 4x4 i also have 4x 4ft led tubes for under canopy with the 2x TSL2000’s.

Gets hot fast.

OH NO, that’s the Window I’m going to kick things off!!! I apologize if I left that impression. Once it’s announced, someone with WIKI-POWER will have to do the Signee Logistics (above my Pay Grade!!). It normally fills up in a few hours, however. DON’T SLEEP, it fills up F-A-S-T. SS/BW…mister :honeybee: :100:
