I had to take down 1 of 2 flower tents. Light leaks, holes, broken zippers etc forced its retirement. I have 12 plants in 5th week of veg. 6 for each tent. Now Iāll have 6 in flower and 6 in veg waiting to get into the flower tent. They will probably veg for about 10 weeks. I have to replace that tent ASAP.
I was going to say, ājust take 'em outside and theyāll flower!ā and then I realized you were in Texas and that probably wouldnāt be a good idea. Sometimes I forget how widely community attitudes vary on cannabis!
you should be able to take plenty of clones off the vegging plants. Unless theyāre Autos? Youāll be ok cuz. Replace the tents if you need to, but the longer they veg the bigger and more mature theyāll be. taking time to train them for a bush and giving you better grade flower
People get a little funny sometimes.
Transferring from the soak to the paper towels ~ 22 hrs later, one of the strawberry nuggets and the Skywalker are already showing tails through the seed casing. I can hear them saying, āPut me in, coach!ā
People were suggesting I reveg the Choco Thai and I gave it some thought but if weāre talking a month of light for it to reverse Iāll just roll the dice on one of the other two seeds being a female in the future. Iād be much happier with what Iād have a month from germ than what I would get a month from chop I think.
Plus a big motivator for doing all autos on the next run is to get the taste of this long flowering plant out of my mouth. Iām on week 13 or 14 now I believe and sheās not even trying to be done
thats fucking impressive. ton of work but for 35k for 5000 sqft all that work was worth it. have you had it appraised for insurence id love to know what it is worth in the current market
lol i remember flowering a sativa plant beforeā¦ by week 14 i was just ready to chop it no matter what because it felt like a year waitingā¦ took it to 17 weeks (and it sucked ) lol
I started two lambs breath seeds in flowering and at 3.5 months I had to pull her , donāt try that in hydro lol but I think Iām a pot it would work
ya haha it just becomes a pain but some ppl like those sativas ā¦
I donāt have much space and would consider a reveg only if it was REALLY special.
Yup. I have the oak crate my grandparents used moving to Canada from South Africa via England in the 50ās. I use it ONLY when the project is right.
Reminds me of the description from Mass Medical about their Acapulco Gold that they say they got through bodhi; itās supposed to be 16-24 weeks and they say to just put your clones/germinate your seeds directly into the flower tent. I canāt imagine having a plant going through flower for half a year!
Nope, me neither, thatās just too much for me.
I think my upper limit for patience is like 10ish weeks flower.
Iāve just discovered if you continually add new plants to the grow it stays interesting. Multi stages of flowering .
Thatās why I donāt grow those long flowering Sativas. Iām afraid they will out live me!
Blessingsā¦
Any Gym Rats that just grow weed an lift heavy shit
lol I can understand a lot of what you folks are saying. But in a situation like mine, itās all good to let a good sativa go that long, or as long as it takes! Thatās why I undertook the preservation/seed run on the Acapulco Gold from @Cory. Well, lol that and the fact that I really wanted this famous old strain back in my hands!! I figure on this run taking at least 5-6 monthsā¦
Iām so happy you took that on @JohnnyPotseed . Iām looking forward to sucking it up and letting one of these do their thing for as long as it needs in my quest for Gold!
