I dont wanna be accused of horse abuse again, so Iāll say my one piece on this and then write my weekly update in my journalā¦
First, its a free site, as such, I have zero right to complain or bitch about policyā¦ Understood completelyā¦
But I gotta sayā¦ I was staff (level above moderator) on the largest aquarium forum in the world (still growing at 500,000 users and millions of posts). THE definitive place for advice keeping reef tanksā¦ Well, thats a LOT of monkeys to keep in line. At the staff level you dealt with every problem other than physical database issues. And you had to learn to do it with grace, and an even handā¦ Explain why the thread is closed in the last post. Respect the users (because, without them, that knowledge base isnt being used, OR added to).
I agree that this place is supposed to be a place to learn, but itās not a RIGID environment, where Johnny is assigned to write a report on his seed starting methods, or ReikoX has to report on autos or breedingā¦ NO, this is NOT school! The banter in the thread may appear like banter to some, BUT people ARE learning, even with the banter. Being pointed in the direction of answers, or being straight up answered (I have pointed a few to Johnnyās seed starting thread). But the Search function trumps all! I donāt just hang on one thread, I read a few I follow, click on recent threads, then on new threads. when I need to find something, I click on search and look (most recently was on variegated leaves). That search engine relays posts, not just threads, and I find what I want. Iāve seen more offers than I can count of free seeds in that thread, and they arenāt being lost to the abyssā¦ Seems silly to be a moderator and not grasp how the search engine functions 
If you want it to be strictly organized, Then you want to run an online mag, and pay for articlesā¦ Otherwise all you really have is the inmates running the assylum and whatever info / knowledge they chose to shareā¦ And that works for some. But I find I learn more in a mixed environment like a forum, because no one persons way is the only way, and I get a variety of opinions to read.
I know staff / mods jobs arenāt easy, and I aint jealous of their decisions they have to makeā¦ But the one thing they canāt ignore is communication. They are no more a god than the newest user, they may be able to do more on the forum, but how do they know that new user isnāt the next genius in the cannabis world, or some big name browsing undercoverā¦ Truth is, you dont knowā¦ Respectā¦ its a two way streetā¦ It really isā¦

Luckier than my kids. They got burgers in the air fryer and rice. At least I only had to feed 2, one is already passed out and will whine about being hungry later.

I worry about this for my boyā¦ his dad was 6ā5āā right now at 3 heās about the size of a 5 year old but he looks like a kid in auschwitz no matter what he eats.
Iād worry about it more for your wallet.

My buddy growing up was like that, 6ā3 and weighed 175ish. He didnāt fill in until 30. You should have seen him when we were 20 and doing hard drugs heavily, he really was skin and bones.
I just had to start buying 2 pizzas for Friday night pizza night at my house because my son is almost 8 and will eat 5 slices of a large. Heās equal in size to my girl friends 10 year old.
My god lol. Yeah I feel for my boys because just as much as women are concerned with being fat, men get insecure about being too thin when theyāre coming into adulthood.
