Really though I canāt wait to feed him real food. Right now hes stuck on pancake and sausage corndogs, mac n cheese, pbjs, and sausage egg and cheese croissants, wont touch milk, ONLY fruit juice

well all the hating on the noobs did sour my postings in the water cooler i mean free seeds thread. but im thick skinned and dont care what people think of me so i said screw it and came back to at least talk and joke around with others. guess it will have to be in here until that thread opens back up.

Iām a chef, so I have a rule that you canāt not like a food until youāve eaten at least 3 real bites of it. It helps with new foods and styles of food like Thai or Indian

Nice rule! I think mine is just having a phase, all of them do. I donāt mind it FOR NOW, and I can tell he is getting more and more curious and asking lots of questions about what Iām eating. And seeing a slightly older kid try something at least makes him put it in his mouth. He will appreciate me and my cooking when heās a teenager and sneaking around smoking. I canāt wait to steal his garbage stash.

How do you fellow soil growers handle having to go on vacations or leave for say a week. I canāt really ask some one to come water my pets.

I am going to be getting forced on one here soon for a week with dying grandparents lol I canāt say no.
you could probably get a reservoir, or some kind of large tubs and hook up a water pump to a timer so i goes off every day or two or whatever for a certain amount of time. not sute if that helps you as iāve never had that issue. rubber hosing to each plant. for example on once every two days for 5-10 minutes.
Iāve gone away for a week and I saturated the pot, put the pot in a dish with an inch or two of water and left it in low light conditions.
It was a bit dry when I got back but alive and kicking

Ahh ok. Iām in cloth pots, is that going to be ok or cause rot/mold issues
For a few days it will be fine. You could rig up an auto watering system but Iāve found this to be sufficient.
You need cool neighbors, or plan vacations between runs.
Edit, not a vacation for you, sorry.
I know, Iām just going to have to sell my house and only scope the next one based off cool neighbors.
Gotta be like sith, grow stuff in pairs. Always a master and an apprentice . . .
