I just posted the trailer in the āwhat are you watchingā thread. Itās a mindtrip! Iām not completely up on it and havenāt truly dissected it but my friend and I figured out thereās a healthy dose of mythology in the story and characters. My buddy is a little more versed in it and he was pointing out things I didnāt catch and how they were tied in with the myths. Itās a crazy watch even without realizing the references to myths though.

Iāve always been into fantasy and lore based books, since I was a kid. Iāve always loved horror flicks too, this seems like a perfect balanceā¦ and the you add nick cage, yea, I have to watch it, today

The way they translated makes for some rough dialogue in the Martyr trailer 
I am going to the store but you are not because I cannot take you. The thing to do at this current moment would beā¦ Like literal translation with no concern for how English is actually spoken. Iāll probably give it a go though. Thereās another movie called Martyr from 2015 thatās American that looks like it might be decent.

I accept your POV but disagree. I ended up in the working in the film industry because of things like this back in the day like Troma movies so I have a soft spot for passion projects like this.
Also, itās a cultural thing; if you havenāt dealt with the horror of Chuck-E-Cheese as a child then the film wasnāt marketed towards you. Itās like me with all these freaking Step-Up films, or the Fast and the Furious franchise; I really dislike them but appreciate that they are there for someone
