I just discovered somebody spilled an entire bottle of honey all over my phone while I was preparing breakfast for the family. The phone wasn’t even in the kitchen at the time.
My phone is now sweet and sticky but I am far from amused. Well actually it is a little funny but still not amused.

Can you just put coupling where you cut the original pipe? Seems easiest way to fix.

Even Shark Bite fittings (work on both pex AND copper).
Pricey for a coupling, but no solder, no brazing, just clean the rough part of your cut, insert and walk away. They work well for someone without brazing / soldering skills.

Well I just got back from lowes with the wrong size shark bite connection, but these are the ones I need to replace/repair

Well on the bright side you sawed through the water connection and not the gas line. Things could be much worse.

Square of your cuts and take the piece with you to lowes. Grab an associate and have him match it up. Shark bites are your friend! Much cheaper to do yourself and it’s really simple with shark bites. Push and connect!

Just cut the end square, bring the trimmed piece with you to size up the replacement shark bite. Chances are its 1/2", may be 3/4". Should say it on the white pipe possibly? I assume thats white PEX, as PVC isn’t suitable for supply water in a home.

i finally finished de-seeding my ground up blueberry pie last night, harvested a decent amount of blueberry diesel seeds. not as many as i had hoped for but i should be able to give some away in the future.
