After taking the tops of some plants for cloning, there are small bud sites and huge fan leaves left lol can I cut off some of those fans and be alright? Some are covering other plants

If I had the scratch Iād buy it in a NY minute. Iāve been making wine in there for a while now but I donāt think that is near sufficient. I donāt know what the level is in there.

hi everyone, super beginner question lol - ive had issues with a couple seeds before but I usually have germination rates of about 80%. i soak on water/h202 for a couple hours or up to 24hr and then sow into humidity dome (partially opened). but this time, out of 12 seeds none have germinated after 5 days (usually i have germination on 3 days) i dug a few out to see whats up, and they all cracked but the never continued growing, some have a small red taproot.
any ideas? too much water?

Could be any number of things. Thatās why I papertowel after the soak, so that I can be sure they sprout before planting in medium. Sowing directly into the medium is fine for vegetables when you have hundreds of seeds with little variation, but our cannabis seeds are a little too precious to leave to their own devices. Just my .02

My thinking is that too many variables introduce problems.
I sow directly in medium and keep them very wet.
Sometimes seeds are just weak and or dead. It happens.

i forgot to mention these were two half packs, the first half had been sowed 3 weeks ago with 100% - so as much as id like to blame the seeds, they were very viable - it was on my end definitely. but now im afraid of sowing i cant lose that much money

Thatās why the paper towel method takes the guessing out of it. Itās actually eliminating variables, because then you arenāt guessing like you are now. I get 100% germination by eliminating the random variables.

Every seed has a history. Unless you made the seeds yourself, you really have no way of knowing what theyāve gone through or how long/far theyāve travelled. What Iām saying is donāt beat yourself up too bad.
That being said, whatās the temp at? Are you using a heating mat? Sounds like they got cooked. At least you didnāt lose the first batch you germed though.
