Hey bud, sorry, was having some family time for a bit.
I’m going to scroll up a bit and re read what’s been going on. After the 4/20 week we had around here I’m still a bit dazed
So by my calculations your around day 60 right now? I think @Foreigner is right and it’s just a leafy pheno and you have some trim time in front of you.
That being said, I am somewhat reminded of a buddy’s troubled grow. He had all leaf, almost zero bud by day 70. Through discussion here with other OG’s I narrowed it down to wayyy too much light, and far too much N, well feeding general but especially the N.
So It is worth asking… do you monitor your par and DLI at all with the LED’s?
If not I would suggest to at least look into the photone app. It’s not perfect but it gets close enough to make some good educated guesses. I was able to get a hold of a apage for a few days and I dialed mine in pretty good.
LED was a whole new curve for me to learn but once I really started paying attention to my DLI/PAR/VPD things were pretty smooth sailing.
Also don’t take the flowering times from breeders as gospel. Their environment will be completely different and a lot of time they just want to sell more seeds by having a fast flower time.
Check trichs for sure but looks like you do that already
I hope some of this was constructive but it certainly not criticism
I wasssssss feeeling like there was more leaf structure then bud structure on a few plants lol
I wasn’t sure If it was a semi common issue / attributed to a direct cause
I am very happy with it all, I think it looks gangbusters (lol)
Just Prepping for my next cycle to try and improve !
I’ll learn as I go lol
Craziest flower I’ve ever grown for sure.
Also just trying to get some constructive feedback LOL e.g. lights too close / leafs growing to protect buds from light. I think it’s just the genetics + environment.
Thx @BeagleZ , you totally went above n beyond with your response, thank you . Ive only grown with LED over this past 16 months here at o.g. Since I started sowing the seed.
Haven’t tried the par app since I got my marshydro . Will download it again.
Ok cool I’ve found cutting back the nitrogen sooner helps prevent leaf growth but a lot of time it’s plant specific some are just a higher leaf ratio . Flowering for a extended period to bulk up the buds helps with some.
Flower tent new addition is stretching and busting out of tent while the rest ripen … Took a lower and looked on scope and still glass…ffs…
Really need to open up the branches to allow more penetration… getting eager now. Definitely close to day 60. Flipped March 03.
57 - 5-7 till Flowers started showing I guess…not going to chop to soon
I am going to put the ones that are on death proverbial door step (calixs doorstep) - and run them with a light for a few more days - that way I can prune them - spread the branches apart so they can get more light- then hang them in the same tent . No room atm
Tents Gota get assembled anyway…just need to get my buddy fan n filter.
Is it worth the setup for the final 7 days?? Or just let them finish in the same tent ? It won’t be any additional elctrical because I’m using the lights Anyway. Another fan. But no dehumidifier…
! @BeagleZ watchoo think?? Tent got a get set up anyway…
Hmmm, I dunno. I’d prob just leave them where they are. Sounds like a lot of work lol. But do what you think is best for sure. I’m just feeling lazy at the moment after a full day of yard work etc.
Lol my wife is pissed at me too! Put a new dry tent up in her art area the other night…
Nope, my house stinks already lol. I don’t have a filter on the 2x4 with the ST yet and man, it’s getting pretty damn obvious around here.
I need to remedy that asap but I figure I could get away with it for a few more weeks.
I duct the portable AC into the tent so that air is clean.
Yeah, went for a 3x3. They only had gorilla 3x3 and ACI 4x4 for almost half price so yeah, I’ll take the lickins
No, I just let the AC push the air out. I leave the top vent open for air release. I do need to get a filter for the ST tent though
I feel like not exhausting the air helps keep the RH where I want it.
I got to 19 days with this method with my ST and that was in the 2x4. It is going to a absolute pleasure to dry dry in this 4x4
I’ve found as long as you have air movement in the drying area across the hanging plants that bud rot/mold is a lot less likely to set in. I use a net though and turn my buds daily. Obviously exchanging the air is what’s recommended though.
