Chez Calix - Journey of a Junior grower

Gotcha! thanks !

I haven’t got access to fresh air unless I move to the garage to dry - then I could find a way to pull outside air and push some air into the tent.

Not sure what my RH will be. However I do remember reading that it’s higher in the dark / night time .

That’s what il go for then. . .I’ve done washes for All my previous grows and usually had to put a big fan on the buds immediately for a few hours to get that external water off

Always a bit too fast of a dry.

Hoping for a nice 5-10 day dry

Humidity is stupid high 99% of the time here in the uk. I remember getting a call last year. A friend had plants hanging in a room. No window open. No fan. The hanging plants had what looked like webs all over them. I told them to wash them open a window and put a fan moving over them lightly. Saved the entire grow. You know what I got as a re payment??? An oz of said bud. I didn’t smoke it but admit I passed it on.

Eeeeeiiiikkkkk !!!

Tradgedy to get so far to a harvest without researching the drying process!

Luckily you could offer some guidance!

That’s high humidity for sure! Sticky lol

Im going to have to order a few more of RH readers. Forget what they are called now. I had fun last time gauging rh with the flower in jars / bags. Helped to get it to where I wanted.

They so Damn small I lost them LOL

I had a th16 humidity sensor fail on me. Cracked the sensor open and the soldier points had corroded. Its a humidity sensor ffs. Moisture shouldn’t effect it.

Yep looks like they are thriving in all phases of growth now, great job! Even the seedlings from the red party cups are regenerated and looking great in their new pots.

lol I had to torch some hella sketchy double chimney today LOL . . 16 pieces lol 8 base on piece 8 cap piece. side side backpan (2piece) then a front pan two sides and a back pan . Lol then repeat with cap

A Little hackish hahahaha but I’m positive it won’t leak after i finish up with a bead of elastomastic caulking at the top lap . I wouldnt normally do anything like this but it’s my brothers rental so I kinda had to figure something out for him

Looks good. You have all the falls in order so the water keeps running. Only thing I find at fault is it should have had a step flashing so it’s into the wall as water can get through the top of where it’s stuck. A bead of lead seal or silicone would help massively. One thing. Don’t expect it to be a permanent fix as water is insidious and if there is an easy route it’ll find it.

That’s lead I know but anything being it felt or lead has the same principle when your fitting it👍

Lol! Yea - there was like 75 years of tar around both of them. Would have had to chizzel it away for days to fit any Metal steps on it .

Alot of people here use torch-on around chimneys.
I used to step flash n then grind out a reglet with a diamond blade to set the counter flashing then set that with mortar caulking and use tap con screws that had to be drilled also.

But now I just do torch on around them

Most actually just wack a bunch of tar around the base of the chimney. The torch on usually looks alot tidier but this was a pig lol

If you use a primer before install if helps loads. I’m uk and it rains 99.9% of the time so my ways of doing things will likely be different to yours. Let’s see if I’ve got any felt work on my phone
Nope non other than me laying layers of felt to get rid of a dip in a roof where water was sitting.
