If it lives it shall probably not live long or will just end up in another room somewhere. Too many good genetics to pick from!
Yall have been heard. I could definitely do without more hermies!

Yeah man. I’ll tell you what, if I found some of that mexi-brick schwagg that I used to buy 20 years ago, which was full of seeds, I would probably plant those seeds and be excited about it.
Nowadays, so much sensimilla is being sold, and if it has a seed or 3, it’s almost surely from a hermaphrodite the way I figure it.
Welp, I feel like I fucked something up here. Noticing some leaf colors and shapes I’m not loving on the auto. Specifically, yellow/brown curling leaf tips. One tiny tip fell off!
My theory is it’s too much nutrients or too much light. Pictures below:
Lower leaves seem better:
Overall plant:
Running about 72F / 55RH.
In any case, for now the light is the same and I’m just planning on plain ol’ water. Maybe the light should be less intense? It’s right around 600PPFD at the highest measurement around the plant.
Any help is appreciated! Cannabis is tricky!! The flower tent seems pretty happy short of getting really full, lol.
She’s showing signs of being over fed.
Thank you Ron! Just water for her now. I was worried she would be underfed in the smaller pot. I was wrong!
Looks like a mild nute burn. Nothing to worry about. Happens in organics too. Plant looks happy. Better than any auto Ive had.
I feel like I can thank @JohnnyPotseed for those absolutely fire genetics! (I promise it’s not me)
Can’t wait to sample her —in a month or so I’m guessing.
Just so yall know, even though I’m sure you all know already! This auto was from JP, a Do Me Fast:
Sorry brother, I can’t take credit for that. The beans came from @Gelatowizard
All I did was make a trade with him for them.
Well then @Gelatowizard is crushing it! I know you are too Johnny — I’ve got plans for Frankie in an Earth Box as soon as the new lights get in. She’s getting an entire 3x3 to herself…or maybe one sister. I’ve seen some pictures of Frankie getting rather large!
Watching some friends dogs for Halloween as they don’t do well with people at the door.
Picked up some Day Crasher to smoke on. It’s going to be a good day! The description is:
“ Day Crasher comes from crossing Wedding Crasher, a hybrid mix of wedding cake and purple punch, with an unknown sativa strain. this particular cut smells lightly like citrus with a fresh after-note. “
An oz was the smallest amount they sell so an oz it was.
I like being with my plants.
Finished up the tents for the night. I think I found a happy spot for GDP5 (the beast GDP plant) in the back corner. She’s taller so is going to get more light in any case. The jigsaw puzzle seemed to fit together better that way. Still a little tight!
Took some off the top. They’ve been thirsty! Pots are getting light in two days reliably.
Rolled up some tester Maui Wowie cones after about 9days of cure. They’re nice! Effective but not too effective. Mild. Sweet tasting with a little bit of earthy citrus.
The burn was a bit dryer than I wanted — I think I let them dry a day or so too long. They’re close —around 55-56RH but not quite the 58-60RH I think I like best.
Still, frosty. Sticky but not like glue. They washed well.
The taste though… almost like a fresh hike in the morning woods. I’m enjoying these as they develop!
The cure continues for the Maui. I wasn’t home last night so the plants all took a day for themselves. Fits right in with their pattern. I’ve been tracking and will only be improving my tracking sheets. This was a rough draft.
Green = nothing done
Blue = watered
Orange = watered with nutes
Black (shows up white on mobile — weird, Google) = nothing/void/null
There is also a “Flip” column and a “chop/cure” column for the Maui and for the current flowering 4x4 tent along the sides to track timing.
I should just write some software for this. I do have a computer science degree and don’t use it enough.
Great thread~Nice grow!
Looking forward to seeing more of your creations.
Thank you! It’s been a lot of fun diving into the deep end here at OG. Once I get a few grows under my belt I certainly want to take on some breeding projects.
The science is fascinating — between photos/autos/fem and how they’re made to triploid genetics, etc. — and it mostly ends up in good smoke! Count me in.
Agree the science is really fascinating. I only do outdoor grows, so it is really interesting for me to see what people are producing in tents, the challenges that come with growing in tents etc. It is such a different process
I can say the same for outdoor! I see pictures on here of people climbing their ladders casually and my jaw is on the floor, lol.
Rock on :). I have to find your threads now…
My first attempt at cloning seems to be not a total failure. I have a lot to learn though. My methods are still rough and being ironed out. A lot.
Here we have though, preserved from the first two genetics I ran (and have no more seeds for — not that I’m concerned — really looking forward to growing out OG beans)… some GDP and some Kyle’s Sweet Island (ISS I think). Both from Homegrown Cannabis Co before I even knew OG existed.
They’re certainly not the happiest plants. Figuring this out!
