The town of Oakridge is evac just east of us. We lost the whole town of Blue River in 2020 Holiday Farm fire.

Yep it’s the new normal until we change our global climate change issues. Blue river “Was” a stunning Mckenzie river community

I just got back from our Walmart, parking lot and store is PACKED with Oakridge evacs, they can’t go east man o man here we go again 2020 all over again. Until you see emergency displacement of a whole town come to the next town west and how unimaginable what these folks are going through. Animals they are still trying to get out. It’s overwhelming to watch. In 2020 only thing Dad and I could do was buy some tents and run them to the evac main site. Might be a rerun of 2020 Blue River. I pray/hope we are not too late at slowing the disastrous effects of Climate Change :-/

still smokey no more ash. most of the ash blew off yesterday afternoon. I shook my bushes last night. I just shook them good again. I think I am going to get away with not having to sprinkle water over the blooms   We are supposed to get a little rain tonight during the night. Oakridge is evac they are saying the fire might come all the way to the edge of town.

Well let’s hope it’s the former and not the latter.
