You want to be careful with the blue silica gel. :pinching_hand:
That is using Cobalt Chloride (banned in the EU) as it can cause health issues (heart, cancer etc).
The orange indicating material is safer to work with.

Ok , I planned only using it for pollen storage and only putting like a small like lunch meat pack like the thin Tupperware style stuff , ya know? And fill it like half way and just sit it inside the clamp down gasketed plastic tote , does the silica have to come in contact with it? or are you just saying to wear gloves while handling it? Or does it off gas? Thanks @Gpaw

@upstate I’ve got 2 nights of 34 degrees F do you think it would be alright if I just move them under some trees? Do you think that it would be enough protection or should I just bring them inside? I feel like under some leaf out trees should be sufficient but whatever you think is best bro PS tonight and tomorrow night

I just had one outside all day and it was high temperature of 38. It didn’t seem phased and the leaves were even praying. I wouldn’t worry one little bit.

Joe survived mid twenties, not that I would risk those temps unless testing the plants.

Joe Hash is stony rocket fuel😁. I love it!

It is chronic ingestion that causes problems.
So keeping that in mind you should be able to use it safely.
The basic stuff, don’t allow it to come into contact with consumable materials, don’t break it up in smaller chunks, don’t eat… :smirk: etc.

I use that Eva-dry that Lefthandseeds showed above :arrow_heading_up:
in a small plastic ammo box (gasketed). Works like a charm, easy to recharge.

It might even be beneficial to let it harden off a little to the upcoming weather. As long it warms a little during the day after a borderline freeze like that, it may even do okay with future cold spells, as long as you don’t have a severe temp change that would kill everything normally.

It’s always good to harden plants off. Most tropical strains would be unhappy, but these seem tough. Normally, the leaves start to droop when cold, but these didn’t do that. I’d say they are done now. Just testing them.

Could one of the group buy ( Black Tiger and Daman #8) people ping me from our thread? Money Finally arrived, but they accidentally oversold the Black tiger by one pack. Ours. I told them I’d wait for the restock, which is already on its way from India. @Tejas

Yes, 34 degrees F didn’t bother them a bit  I moved them close to a tree but tonight I won’t, I probably could have yesterday but I figured I would ease them into it , just in case  but they’re doing fine

Just picked both remaining Peshawar plants. :grin:Flowering began jan28…today is day 84. 12 weeks on the button. Resin is clear and cloudy on the serrated pheno. Cloudy on the hermie.
I left the lowest 2 buds on the serrated pheno to possibly reveg. It’s a good one.

I only had 3 people end up taking Oaxaca Peshawar seed, so 3 packs left, if there is interest.
Also, I have lots of Tirah/ Peshawar seed if someone has interest in growing some. It would be neat to see what they do.

I’m growing one of Joe’s offspring 12 12 from seed atm. It came up on its own, so I figured I’d let it go. I really think these can be grown well 12 12 from seed, but I’ll find out for everyone.
